Joey Harrington, Ryan Leaf, Mitch Trubisky, EJ Manuel, Daniel Jones, Paxton Lynch, Christian Ponder, Brandon Weeden, Dwayne Haskins, Jake Locker, Mac Jones, Blake Bortles, Josh Rosen, Trey Lance, Mariota, Sam Darnold., Blaine Gabbert, Sam Bradford, and JaMarcus Russell .......all were apparently NOT picked by football people.

thats what i was pointing out to you when NFL gm's took penix and nix 8 and 12 but you know better.
Yeah the NFL GMs do a great job (Justin Fields, Zach Wilson, Johnny Manziel) at picking 1st rd QBs!!
54% of QBs taken in the first round don't sign a contract with the team that picks them... yeah I'm so dumb to question them... smh.

Show me these lists/gobs of "football people" who are stupid enough to have Penix and Nix QB1 and QB2?

No shot at Goodman is unneccessary. If you felt Bardo was talking about you, that might be a tell.
Every shot at Goodman should be celebrated. I still cannot fathom mentioning Little Peja as a shooter, but Mgbako isn't.

Yes mother.
I'm responding to the idiot in the video that took an unnecessary shot at critics of Woodson.
If you're going to miss the point, then you might want to sit out of the conversation.
I just can't believe you're actually bothered by what Bardo said. That's light.

not talking about the draft. Football people that know.
haha whatever man. Thankful those two franchises benefited the Colts last night.

A lot of experts had Penix to best QB in the draft if not for injury questions and Nix as the most ready to play today. Heard it every day on NFL radio.
There are a lot of really bad experts at the draft.

BTW, the most interesting thing Bardo said, at least to me, was "Bryson Tucker may well be the best player on this team."
And I'd take his word on it over Goodman and those of his ilk any day...
He and Newton are true wild cards.

Penix has the talent. But I am trying to think of a college quarterback that was so injury prone, yet went onto a long healthy NFL career.
It's possible, but risky to draft that high imo.
Although I 100% am pulling for him. I am definitely a Penix fan.
He's also awful against pressure

I don't know about Nix, but I can see it for Penix. Atlanta has their veteran QB (Cousins) under contract for a few more years. That gives Penix time to sit and watch, listen, learn and absorb all he can from a solid starter. I think that is a benefit for him and the team both down the road.
How much more time does Penix need!?! He turns 24 next week.

@IUFLA very interesting

I cannot fathom taking Penix or Nix in the first rd. To each their own.

Yeah, but if it was just a meniscus repair as reported, he’ll be good to go at the beginning of the season.
And win 6th man of the year in the conference!
