Once again, lineups adjusted and Hawkins will start instead. He has been playing really well recently, played some great D against Murray Sunday. Probably a better match up with Thompson anyway. Not a fan of the early start!

Houston's analytics are a little suspect as they lost 2 of their best players midway through the season. Credit to them for continuing to play well but given they are in a weaker league I'm not so sure they are a real contender. It's unlikely they will get a protected seed which will also make their path tougher.

Well they are also 14 spots higher in NET, even bigger gap in kenpom. Plus as I think I said previously, your non con SOS is really bad, #315 pre NET. Theirs is #44 which is really good for a mid major. And the road record as another poster mentions. Also read some comments from the NCAA committee chair that makes it sound like they're going to be looking pretty favorably at mid majors this time around.

Ivey was 17-19 vs Illinois, 3-9 last night. Guess Purdue only gets motivated to play Illinois, they looked really flat. And Williams was absolutely awful. Have to tip the hat to Wisconsin I guess though I'm not sure they make it out of the first weekend in the NCAAs. Their defense has been bad all season.
