I like this hire… not sure about the OC hire

It's not negativity, its reality. IU hasn't had elite wings/guards in 5 to 6 years.
I’m guessing you don’t think Romeo was elite?

Just play the top 8 SEC teams for the championship from now on. A full strengthed Tennessee team played UGA and Bama way better than this.
Yea because Ohio State and Clemson can’t compete lol

So glad we are done with the crossroads. Did nothing for the program playing inferior programs in the state. Playing someone like Kansas is what we should be doing. Really excited for this series

Thank the lord he is gone! Awful!!

Rob shouldn’t see the floor again unless it’s mop up minutes and he can show he isn’t completely broken offensively. Landers upside is huge and I expect the turnovers to come down as he gets more comfortable.

Rob is not way ahead of KL. Did any of you watch last night? He was horrible. Anyways you have the right to your opinion. But I’m saying right now KL will be taking Rob spot soon.

Rob is a really good defender. I am kind of hoping that he has that light go on offensively like Fife did his senior year.
I don’t see it happening

Way too many knee jerk reactions from the peanut gallery! He will be fine! Im sure he’s still going through being stripped down, reprogrammed so he can consistently build confidence. He will find a way to earn minutes… As stated numerous times from Coach Fife,….Rob’s his guy and I trust in his abilities as a coach and former player.
Rob has been awful for 3 years but ok

I said it in the game thread last night, but Woodson has got to find a way to get Lander real minutes in this cupcake portion of the schedule.
He cannot got a full game not playing or just playing in garbage time in this portion of the schedule.
A decision has to be made by the staff, over these next three games, which has the better long term impact on this season and beyond, trying to get Phinisee right (which has been attempted for 3 years) or getting Lander comfortable and growing?
Very difficult to do both because the minutes just aren't there. I'd lean to the latter at this point.
We have gave Rob chance after chance for 3 years I’m over it. There is no fixing it. It’s who he is.
Lander has WAY higher ceiling. -
Rob P is done. I can’t watch him anymore. He was so bad last night. Bring on Lander. The more comfortable he gets I think he will really shine. Need to get him some minutes before the BIG starts.

Yes. Tom Allen is not the problem. Get new offensive staff in off season and will be alright.
-
Less Kopp and Stewert and more Lander and Leal please. Especially Leal.

Not real impressed game 1… how bad has Lander been in practice if he can’t see the court?? Rob and Johnson obviously aren’t spectacular. The guards need to figure out where the ball needs to go on possessions. To many possessions where it resulted in a quick 3 from someone like Johnson who isn’t even a good shooter. I want players to have confidence but a three off one pass when your not known for shooting in first place… no. Offense had no flow.
good thing is we found a way to win. Hoping we see some major growth over the next month or it’s going to be disappointing.

Oh there are plenty of ways haha. Final four or bust is pretty steep.
I think it’s the best team Painter has ever had

and I think IU will finish top 5 but will see

Not sure I see a way PU doesn’t win conference. Final four or bust year for them

I came into the year with low expectations for the football team, but we do need to acknowledge that every team we've lost to has spent significant time in the top 10. We have a killer schedule, too soon to get down on Allen.
I still believe Allen is a great coach. Hopefully He will be making some significant changes to offensive staff this offseason

He was back, but he was nowhere close to 100%. Probably should not have been playing.
That makes more sense. Before Clifford was hurt Penn State had legit shot for the playoff

Yes, they did.
Wow

Did Penn State have Clifford back at QB today? I’m assuming they didn’t and that’s why they lost
-
You get paid a lot of money to be a coordinator and O-Line coach and if you can’t produce see ya. Wasted opportunity with a defense that might be IU’s best ever? And the offense has done them absolutely no favors.

Yes our schedule is brutal, but any offense at all and we are 4 2. Cinn game pick six and some other costly interceptions and a fumble late at the 4 yard line. MSU, gave them at least 10 points in a 20 ,15 lose!
so pissed we have squandered this great opportunity to move out program forward!
we wasted years with Lynch, then Doug Mallory at DC was horrible wasted some great offensive teams. Now Hiller and Nick Sheridan. Who has faith in either one? We have a top defense and a bottom of the barrel offense!Exactly! It’s time to move on From Hiller and Sheridan it’s pathetic! We don’t have any time to waste.

He wouldn't be with this line. Ramsey by plenty.
Nah. Coming into college before injury’s he was just as good of a runner with a way better arm. Loved what Ramsey did for us though.

How good is this guy supposed to be? Like NBA player or a solid 4 year guy?
