I’ve read that if a person takes a hit to the chest at just the right time it can trigger a heart attack. Read a story about a hockey player this happened to. Can’t help but wonder if that’s what happened here. Of course I’m speculating.
Saw a doctor on youtube that said that's probably what happened. I believe there was a little league game around Indy some years ago where a kid got hit in the chest by a pitch. Same thing happened, fortunately there was either an emergency room doc or cardiologist there and I believe also a defibrillator. The kid was fine.

Romeo started tonight in a victory against the Knicks and had 23 points on 11-16 shooting (1-1 from 3). He added 3r, 2a, 2st and 1 to.

I didn't know that Tennessee started 3 foreign born players, and also Tyreke key, a transfer who played at IN ST for 4 years.

I hope you guys are right and DD is full of crap and this team turns it around, but I'm not optimistic. Hopefully it's just growing pains in a new system and Cupps and Newton plus some portal help will get the ship righted.

Yes, I'm sure chioce of news stations is a big factor in coaching chops...
Dakich will be forever bitter because he was never considered...
I don't care what channel, I took his point is that they don't coach and the more I see of IU the more I believe it.

You really believe everything DD says because there was a no way he knows what the coaching staff is doing.
I'm sure he and Fife talk. All you have to do is watch this team for awhile and Dakich starts sounding more and more believable, at least to me.

This program/team needs a culture change. I know Woodson is trying to change that. I’m hoping JHS and Malik are the start of it.
Could be Dakich is right and CMW needs to be better and the assistants need to do something besides recruit. His tweet mentioned them watching CNN instead of film, maybe Fife was right to get out of dodge. Something needs to change.

+13 at the half. Probably their best half this year.
I turned it on and WKU was up 6. Lander turned it over leading to a UL score and then quickly bricked a 3. UL got the momentum and now they're up 19 with 15 min to go.

Wow...no discussion of the Pacers beating GS tonight?
Probably should have been a game the Pacers expected to win. GS now 2-13 on the road.

Charleston, looking to stay undefeated at home (8-0), leads Stetson 30-16 at the half. Luke Brown is 0-3 from the field in his 2nd start. He's had a rough go of it in his last 4 games.

From that angle it looks like an intercepted lob meant for TJD and not a goaltended shot.

Is this from the same LaVall Jordan that is not coaching and the only Butler Coach the past 20 years to not be successful?

He's not the only coach. Brandon Miller wasn't successful either.

What was the source?
And what is wrong with Duncomb?
DD was referencing some blogger saying something about Duncomb being a sleeper this year and Dan said that was ridiculous because LD wouldn't get playing time ahead of TJD, Race, Malik, and JG. It's in the Dakich show link somewhere around the 2:30:00 mark. Dan's job is talking for something like 5 hours a day and he says a lot of stuff.

I heard DD say 3 or 4. Someone else told me 4.
The show I heard he said "a couple of real good transfers" . He says it starting around the 2:29:40 mark

When I heard him say this on the radio show he said two players and not four
Yeah it was a couple of weeks ago he said two guys wanted to play for CMW. I hope he hits the portal hard after this year. I have nearly zero expectations for Bates and I don't think Galloway will ever be much of a shooter so get a couple of guys that will upgrade the offense. I hope Banks and Gunn will grow into that type of player in time.

If you are looking for a warmup to our game today, the PFW Dons are on ESPNU a 3:00 v the Oakland Golden Grizzlies
Today I learned two of Oakland's guards are former 38th ranked, MSU recruit Rocket Watts and Jalen Moore of Cloverdale, who scored 2,440 career points in high school, and averaged 36.8 as a senior.

Double header tonight on local Indy tv (MyIndy tv). Ben Davis and Kokomo at 6:30 and Cathederal v Centerville OH at 8. BD has 6'9" Zane Doughty, a Valpo commit that was a junior all star last year vs Flory Bidunga. Then X Booker (MSU) vs Gabe Cupps. The games are streamed at IHSAAtv, not sure if it's free or not. Both games are played at Brownsburg as part of Sneakers for Santa.

Alabama is hard to watch with all the one on one and guys dribbling the air out of the ball.
It's rare to see a 5* five and done, like Jahvon Quinerly. He and Jordan Brown (Louisiana) were 5* recruits in 2018 (247) and still playing college ball.

Because I hate myself, I checked out a stream of Rhode Island/Kansas State for a few minutes. That's about all I could take. KState won 77-57. Rhody shot 32.7% from the field and 2-12 from 3. They were also 19-31 on FT's. In the spirit of the season, I am very thankful for CMW.

Was trying to map out the schedule this week and just noticed that. Speaking of schedules what's the appeal of Portland, Oregon for Sparty/Purdue on Thanksgiving? I get Florida/Bahamas,etc....but Oregon for the Holiday?
Is it just a Nike thing? I know it's two separate events, the Phil Knight Legacy and PK Invitational. I can see the allure of it. Good competition in prep for the conference season and few distractions. Seems more like a business trip than a vacation. Good prep for UNC since they haven't exactly looked very impressive against their cupcakes.

Having a little girl will do that to you. A lot on his plate right now. When I first held my daughter, everything changed for me. I think he will settle in and find the balance he needs to be good at both being a basketball player and a dad.
I hope Dakich was right that there were a couple of good players in the portal that wanted to play for CMW. I'd love to see him bring in a couple of guys that can shoot/score. Maybe Bates figures it out or maybe not but I don't want to totally count on him, Galloway, Leal or the incoming freshmen to carry the load with Gunn.
