You guys are making me hungry. Seriously. I don't have a complaint but I will add that Wendys is my go-to fast food. Spicy chicken, chili, fries, and a frosty. Enough extra calories for about a week but I can chow down.
On the minus side, they started breakfast to great fanfare but we found it useless. McDonald's is more on the ball.
If I had Clark Griswold's wagon, it would be perfect, but when the wife and kids and I pull into McDonalds on a road trip, I don't know how to describe it. A little of everything, maybe? Fun, though.
The car ride is probably our go-to time for fast food.
Wendy's is my favorite too and the one in my town closed about 3-4 years ago so I rarely am able to get it anymore. Bummer.

I was really hungry this morning, on my way to work I stopped at McDonald's, which is something I rarely do. Ordered a ham, cheese, egg mcmuffin with mayo. Halfway through my sandwich, no mayo. They gave me a packet of mayo.
C'mon. They couldn't have smeared it on my bun? Still enjoyed it though. Would have been better with mayo.

Ever had a kid forget his helmet? I think my freshman or sophomore year we went to GS for a scrimmage. I open my travel bag and no helmet in it.
The look on my coaches face when I told him, I thought he was slap me upside the head. He had me share a helmet with the biggest head on the team. Luckily I always kept a spare mouth guard.

I love any kind of tomato, including fried green...
Guess I got that from my old man...he use to slice up tomatoes and just dip them in salt and eat them...I'm not that far gone, but there aren't too many sandwiches/salads that I don't want them on...
I don't know why I do it but I like fresh tomoto slices and ketchup.

Boy, if I lived nearby, I'd take some cherry tomatoes off your hands. My wife makes a hybrid Caeser salad with cherry tomatoes and Kallamata olives that's out of this world...
Sounds good. We do a cherry tomato salad with roasted corn, cheese tortellini, and fresh basil. It's on the menu next week.

You have any tricks for keeping cherry or cluster tomatoes for winter? I've been giving away about 40 per week it seems like and I still have dozens on the vine.
We just make batches of salsa or sauce and freeze in mason jars. Have so much this year I may try dehydrating some.
An immersion blender is a handy tool to have.

Jasper really surprised me tonight, did way better than what we were expecting tonight.
I spent 4 years playing against Jasper. I played for WHS. Yeah we sucked. But at least it was fun. I played against Brian Lewis, who is their AD and Head Coach now? I was in the old Hoosier Dome when Brian broke free to win the state championship game for the only touchdown IIRC.
I thought when Jasper football joined SIAC, they would be put in their place. NOPE.

Carmel down 17-0 early vs Trinity...wins 49-38. Next up another out of state team. Detroit King. Hope everyone is enjoying return of high school football!
I kinda am but was looking forward to my hatchets vs west vigo.
Yeah our program sucks historically but have been looking forward to what our new coach and alumnus brings.
He spent alot of time with big time programs in Indy as DC and last year had a really good start schematically, albeit against inferior opponents, but you have to start somewhere.

Jasper beats Memorial, 27-19 in a game of turnovers
Honestly surprised with Jasper holding their own in that conference. They owned the Big 8 for 50 yrs. They are legit.

Can you imagine, your first week or so on campus. You gather with other freshman to put chairs in trees and chant f IU. What a bunch of pathetic losers.

WTH? When I went to college I settled into my apartment, found the gym, and found where the food lives.
Finally found all my classes about 2 weeks in😉.

From Jasper, IN
Been noticing shelves getting more bare. If you still haven't done so, probably would be a good idea to have a couple months of supplies.

My wife has over a 2.5hr drive, one way, to Gibson Southern tomorrow night. She will get back late our time.
That's a haul. When I played we went to Tell city and Mt. Vernon in posey County. And played North Posey. That's a long time on a bus.

From, or frog legs are tasty.
Gator is good.
Bear has to have all the fat stripped off or it is rancid.
Any type of sausage, be it venison, or whatever, is good.
Bison burgers are the best. But not sure you are hunting buffalo
From was a typo.
Frog legs are awesome. Biggest frog legs I ever gigged came from golf courses.
That's what I meant to say.

If it runs, walks, swims, flys, hops, crawls I've hunted and killed them all. Rabbits and deer are my favorite.
Only exceptions, are bear, elk, caribou, moose, and geese. I've eaten them but haven't personally put them on my table if you know what I mean.
I've even eaten alligator, snakes, turtle.
From legs are phenomenal.

While driving this morning, in the rain, i started to approach a squirrel that was beginning to cross the road. I started to slow down to allow him to make his way across, but as I got closer, he panicked and started to dance around like a NFL running back trying to make tackler miss instead of just going straight across. I had to slam on my brakes on the rain soaked road to avoid sending him to nut heaven. Even though this little guy got a second chance, it made me think back to some of those times where the critter was not so lucky.
My most memorable experience was when I was in college, driving down a country road with my window down and my left arm hanging out the open window. Caught a rabbit flush with my front driver's side tire and ended up with bunny guts all over my arm. There's no feeling quite like getting splattered with guts. It's hard to describe.
The biggest thing I ever hit was a dog. Rolled him going about 60 but he came out the back end and gingerly jogged away.
Came very close to hitting 3 deer that froze right in front of me just as I went around a blind curve on a hill. Literally stopped less than a foot from them.
Hit a turtle with my drivers side front tire one time. I can't imagine a large rock causing any more of a jolt.
Anyone else have a memorable story where you were the culprit in a vehicular animalcide?
I agree, as a hunter their is no better feeling than field dressing an animal when it's 15 degrees outside. It's gross but it does warm your fingers

I'm a big fan of Casey.
But.. hare to imagine someone being better I'm John Duttons role than Kevin Costner. I'm a huge fan of his.
Untouchables is one of my favorites of all time.
Agree, and Casey's son.
Costner has had some bombs, but yeah, this role was made for him. He does well in westerns. And movies like Tin Cup for example. I actually liked The Postman.

Hard Rain.
An average movie with a pretty decent cast for the 90's.
The reason why I remember it is part of it was filmed in Huntingburg, IN and my dad took me to the movie set and I got to meet Morgan Freeman, well he waved to me from across the street.
Pretty cool to spend a day on a movie set though.

Ozark Season 4
Peaky Season 6
Yellowstone Season 4
Jack Ryan Season 3

Looking forward to Yellowstone. I think Beth buys the farm and Rip goes on a rampage. Just makes sense story wise.

Couple years ago a possum with about 6 or 7 babies on its back ran out in front of me. The car went over the top of it but baby possums littered the road. I don't think it killed any though cause went back by later and they were all gone and no grease spots in the road.

Football is a game you play at full speed or you will likely get hurt. If someone is afraid of getting hit play harder, smarter, and hit harder.
