  1. He’s long been a well respected assistant coach. Things just didn’t go well when he was a head coach. He also has a defensive coordinator type of coaching background so that will likely be his main role. Some great assistants just aren’t good head coaches.
  2. It’s just been the talk around him for a while and the way things have been trending.
  3. Rick Carlisle has agreed to hire Lloyd Pierce as his top assistant and he’s closing in on adding Ronald Nored to the staff as well.
  4. Believe what you want. He was always a Duke lean and now that he’s got the offer it would take something crazy for him not to end up there. It’s just a matter of time.
  5. This sounds like a take straight from some of the posters on peegs. The class will be alright it’s June for crying out loud
  6. It was on a post from Alfonzo Allen with pictures of him on his visit to IU.
  7. No. IU doesn’t have a shot here since Mike Roberts is gone. They’re to far out of this recruitment.
  8. Yeah it is. One time well whatever but twice. Come on. Not to mention he doesn’t need to force his way out if he wants to leave since he’s set to be a free agent anyway.
  9. I love how NBA players are all doctors and medical experts when it comes to injuries
  10. I expect changes to the roster. It’ll be interesting to see how much influence on the roster Carlisle gets because the franchise is clearly paying him more than they have past coaches which is a major change.
  11. He impressed at the top 100 and IU likely figured they would take a shot and see what happens.
  12. Duke is in the process of naming Scheyer head coach in waiting so he’ll be the replacement for Coach K.
  13. I think he just decided to stay for this year unless their is a surprise opening. He was 100% sniffing around some jobs and at least one of those may have been viewed as a lateral move in some peoples eyes.
  14. Not to mention seeing IU getting strong consideration from other highly rated 2022 DE's. Probably felt he was being recruited over.
  15. That's cool. I guess you are a fan of losing then.
  16. Well because the NBA says so and it's their rule. Just like the NFL rule is 3 years out of high school. It's up to each league to make their own rules.
  17. Xavier in the Gavitt Games and Virginia in the ACC/B1G challenge lol
  18. It will be telling when the draft roles around. If he starts to slip past the first 2-3 rounds it’s likely that teams view him as being a college lock. This happens every MLB draft. That was the case with Jack Leiter who was dead set on going to Vandy for a couple years. Some guys just want to know what it was like to experience college and go play college baseball for a couple years. Guys pass up early round signing bonuses every year so don’t look to much into that.
  19. Or nothing. He tweets hype stuff like this almost daily. That said they will likely be landing some good recruits so so who knows what he’s talking about.
  20. I didn't get that take at all. In what world is 7'0 tall and 250 pounds a tweener?
  21. Kids in Georgia and New York probably would've more than Indiana to be honest. Kids that are fans of the Knicks and Hawks as well regardless of where they are from.
  22. I think he’s somewhere in the middle. Closer to Davis but more athletic.
