  1. I’d say about 6’0 but he could play defense better than other guys his size. He has extremely long arms which is more important than height itself in many cases.
  2. My guess is he doesn’t get an IU offer. I think he could play there but I’m not CAM.
  3. 6’1 might be generous but he’s definitely taller than 5’10.
  4. I agree with this but almost every good team has at least a couple of great athletes to go with great basketball players. Then the great teams have 1-3 guys that are a combination of athlete, skill, and BB IQ.
  5. Archie is a good coach and a good recruiter but he might not be great like many have hoped. He came from Dayton He did miss a lot with this class similar to how Crean did in 2017 and this one was even deeper than that one. Adding Stewart was a good make up for some of the others but he has to hope some of these guys start panning out in order to compete at the top of the B1G and he does need to start getting some top 20 guys too. I get how people bring up his Dayton record but the truth is everyone wins at Dayton. Since 1947 only one coach has had a losing record at the school so he really needs to make big strides in the B1G and against Purdue starting now since he has a record of 26-32 in the conference. I want the team to do well and they've played well so far but things are going to get tougher and the B1G is the best conference in country by a pretty large margin this year.
  6. There still has been travel tournaments and events even with COVID which has allowed rankings to change.
  7. He's gone up since I stated that a few months ago. That said a lot can change between now and the draft. The MLB draft always has top guys that fall and lower rated guys that go higher because of the contract and bonus pool implications that are different than the NBA and NFL.
  8. I’ve said it before but Brian Hahn who was his previous head coach the last 2 years said he had a chance to be the best player he’d ever coached. Brian also coached Kellen Dunham and Sean McDermott at Pendleton Heights so that’s pretty high praise for the kid. Yes they are different positions but still impressive.
  9. It’s easier for coaches to just upload stats and schedules to Maxpreps.
  10. The reality is that unless you overpay you can't make deals with Ainge in Boston. He feels like he has to make a great one sided deal everytime and you could make the case that's why they haven't won a championship since 2008. He doesn't trade the abundance of picks he gets for proven players ready to win. Lowe is also a Celtics media guy that tends to make Ainge sound good when deals don't go down so I don't know that I buy what he says all that much.
  11. He won't have to. I'd expect him to sign a deal similar to the Al Horford deal last year but maybe slightly less and the Pacers can match that salary with players they have to make the trade work.
  12. Kevin O'Connor tweeted this morning that he has a hunch Hayward wants Indiana and that he's been told it's his preference.
  13. I have a gut feeling that all this talk about Hayward is smoke being put out by Ainge like he likes to do. I think it's a done deal as to where he is going but the parties involved don't want things to get out early so the deal falls apart because the league starts investigating like they are with the Bucks and Kings. I also wouldn't be surprised if the Celtics deal Edwards, Langford, or one of their draft picks in a sign and trade involving Hayward. I don't see Hayward wanting to play for the Knicks or Hawks in the last big deal of his career but that's just me.
  14. All of those are good points. I do want to ask though why the Dodgers get lumped in like that as a team that's been buying players? I get that they are in LA but the only impactful player that they have that they did that with was Mookie and he was acquired via trade. He got big payday after the fact but most teams would've done that to keep him. Boston just wasn't smart enough to keep him.
  15. I really hope this happens. Assuming Vic now stays until at least the deadline a starting lineup of Brogdon, Vic, Hayword, Warren, and Sabonis just seems like a much better fit for flexability in the NBA than that group with Myles. I won't speculate on the bench because that could change but it would just be a lot more interesting of a team imo.
  16. The Bucks are also going to acquire Bogdan Bogdanovic from the Kings for Donte Divincenzo, DJ Wilson, and Ersan Ilyasova. It's also sounding like Giannis is leaning toward signing the super max deal with the Bucks.
  17. If the Pacers are hiring coaches to make Vic happy that's a problem and he's not even close to being on that level of a player. I don't even like when teams do it for real superstars. The real connection to make is that Greg Foster was an assistant for the Atlanta Hawks last year and Calbert was a coach for the Hawks G-League team last year.
  18. Vic wants to stay for this year. He never committed long term to the franchise. To answer the question though I'm pretty sure Calbert was there for a couple of years while Vic was there. Calbert getting hired by the Pacers I would say has almost zero to do with Vic.
  19. They would probably be hitting the transfer market which will likely be full of options.
  20. Calbert Cheaney has now been added to the Nate Bjorkgren's coaching staff with the Pacers.
  21. If the Pacers could get Reddish I would take him and run. There would need to be more salary maybe Dedmon and a pick of some kind but Reddish gives them a good young asset with upside.
  22. Like I said earlier. J does his homework before he writes things.
  23. This isn't going to end well folks. Greg Doyel is going to call into the DD show to defend J's article after CTC just called in.
  24. It's just what's been said and just because they haven't played together doesn't mean the don't talk. It's the NBA.
