JMV has said on his show that there is a certain former Pacer that has gotten in the ear of Vic and still talks to others on the team as well. That former player would be none other than good ol Paul Geoge himself.

J doesn't typically write things unless it's accurate. He said this information came from 3 different sources with knowledge of the situation. This makes sense because there was talk during the bubble that players on the team were taking issue with Vic and his handling of certain things but there werent details at the time.

So apparently Vic was asking other teams players last year if he could come play with them during games and in front of teammates. It sounds like this didn't exaclty make some teammates very happy. This is from J Michael at the Indy Star. If this actually happened he has to go imo.

That's a one time example and a little different of a circumstance.

I agree. Im not saying that IU should recruit like UK. I'm saying that if UK misses on a guy they find another. If IU misses on a guy right now they're in trouble becasue they haven't proven that they can make up ground in recruitments and win them so that's why it's a problem when they miss on the guys they lock in on as priorities.

The Pacers have hired Kaleb Canales as an assistant coach. So as of right now the Nate Bjorkgren's staff consists of Kaleb Canales, Greg Foster, and Bill Bayno.

I'm starting to not like IU's chances with this recruiting class moving forward. I know Lander is at IU but who knows if he'll be around after this year. I think he will but if he plays well who knows. I get that there will be a lot of transfers but if you're banking on that to fill out a recruiting class you could be in trouble. I don't put this all on CAM and the staff because things happen in recruiting but they need to find a player or two that they really lock in on and don't miss because of the last 3 guys that it was known were a priority CAM has missed on 2 of them and that can be fine if you recruit like UK but CAM hasn't done that.

It's grad transfers that can be a problem to get in based on the programs that IU offers from what I have heard in the past. Not regular transfers.

Well there isn't any real talk about anything the Pacers might do. If they do anything it will likely come out of left field.

Oh and Popeye Jones has joined the 76er’s in a player development role. So they have now swiped 3 former Pacers employees from this past season I believe.

The Pacers are replacing Peter Dinwiddie with 2 different assistant GM’s. The first one they’ve hired is Ted Wu who worked in the NBA league office on the salary cap. That’s what he’ll do with the Pacers as well. They are planning to hire another assistant GM who I’m guessing will work more on the personnel side of things as well though that’s just speculation.

This quarterback draft class is starting to look pretty impressive depending on who all decides to come out.

Former NBA big man Greg Foster has joined the Pacers coaching staff. He was on Atlanta’s staff and his spot there was just filled by Nate McMillan.

Gut feeling is you will see a combination of old suns offense, Houston offense, and some similar stuff to the Warriors.

Fair enough. We'll just see what happens. I just know what some people with sources have said. Just because he worked for the Celtics doesn't mean he knows what the warriors have in mind now. That said I still think the Pacers keep Turner so it won't matter and all this Turner talk will just be a big waste of time.

Well do a little research and you'll see that everything that you've written off has been seriously discussed by people within the NBA that's just a fact. It doesn't really matter though. If you got offended by that then my apologies. I didn't mean to offend you even if it came across that way.

He doesn't have a clue and doesn't realize the talk going on around the Warriors. There are several teams that value Myles because they think he can be a good 5th option on offense that protects the rim and spaces the floor for their play makers. A championship level team isn't going to want to rely on a rookie James Wiseman to do that when he isn't known as a shooter at all.

Well actually there is real talk that they would consider it. They obviously would be wanting to get a player back that they feel fills a need. There is real chatter though that they are considering trading the pick with the Wiggins contract.

He’s known for being a great mentor and talent developer. Players seem to like him. That’s what you need in assistant coaches. Plus I’d assume he’d work with the post players.

No Pacers wouldn’t. The Warriors want to get rid of that contract and will give up the #2 pick to do that. He’s overpaid and they know it.

I'd take DivVincenzo and the Pacers pick but there will need to be more salary than that obviously.

Apparently the Bucks and Pacers have had some talks centered around Vic. I would think that would possibly need to be a 3 team deal to make salaries work.
