Give Peyton partial ownership and president of football operations title. Hire Harbaugh or another big name as HC and get things back on track. This franchise needs some name recognition running the franchise that can carry some weight.

Because it’s a topic and people can. What interests some might not interest others. It’s some drama centered around IU’s biggest rival. That’s a topic that some like to discuss.

That’s the whole reason Woody promoted him in the first place. He got doors opened for IU with several players and was a major factor in landing Cupp as the recruiting coordinator.

It all depends on what rules the NBA puts in place. If they don't put an age requirement of any kind on entering the draft then I don't see the one and done going away.

I wouldn't hire him. He hasn't been a college coach since the 80's and recruiting would be a major issue imo

I’ve had some of the same thoughts. I just think that there has to be a reason whether it’s game prep or practice level that separates Bazelak from the other guys. I just don’t know what that is.

I haven’t heard anything. I’m not sure there’s a better option on the team and that’s the biggest issue. I also think that Bazelak is probably the best performer in practice as well. This is because he’s able to step into throws like he was able to at Missouri. That hasn’t happened at IU because of the OL. If I was on the staff I’d personally ride him the rest of the year the staff if they know that none of the other QB’s on the roster are the answer. I’m certain though that Williams will get a shot at some point. Another thing to keep in mind is that both Bazelak and Williams each have 2 years remaining as well.

It was more about the trajectory or the program under Crean. Similar to how Romeo wasn't coming to IU under Tom Crean either.

I was of this mindset for a while but I'm not so sure now. If this team loses out again then the athletic department will be in a tough situation and it could make for a tougher financial situation to keep Allen than it would be to move on from him. This program will be at a Crossroads for Dolson to figure out.

I don't know if that's entirely the case. He wasn't playing for Crean but he might've came depending on who the coach was even if it wasn't Miller.

The only one I’d consider trading right now is Kelly and I don’t even think I’d do that if I was Ballard.

There are 3 or 4 1st rounders that are all more highly rated than anyone in the 2022 draft.

The in season stuff isn’t happening. That said I think Harbaugh should be priority #1. Payton is going to cost draft capital to acquire that the Colts don’t have. Harbaugh is a notable name and not just some up and coming coordinator. He’s also got the ties to the Colts organization since he’s a former player. Harbaugh would need a creative OC but he has definitely proven that he’s a winning coach having had successful seasons at multiple colleges and in the NFL.
