Winner, winner, chicken liver dinner! Well done...

Though many siblings have played in the NBA, only one set of brothers have both won an NBA championship...who are they?

My greatest hope is that we rekindle the rivalry, and in the first game, Woody slaps Cal in the back of the head ala RMK and Joe B (Hey Joe! What does the B stand for?) Hall...

That's what I thought, but the article I cited was from today, and it says he's staying... "The 6-4 Brockington, who began his career at St. Bonaventure, was second on the Lions in scoring (12.6 points per game) and rebounding (4.9) while shooting a team-best 84.1% on free throws. When he announced his return to the program on March 26, he wrote on Twitter he would “test the NBA draft process for feedback on my game.” "Then he added, “Following my meeting with Coach Shrewsberry, I really believe in the vision he has for this program and feel we can do something special.”

Troublemaker! -
Yep...And it ain't Leonard Hamilton or Burt Reynolds

Memphis had been to one under Dana Kirk (I think) in 72 or so... It's a toughy, and a guy you wouldn't really think of... Edit: My bad, Memphis went under Gene Bartow in 73

Dammit, my second guess was right...But I'll give others a chance

I think Illinois had been to a FF before Henson...Back when Johnny "Red" Kerr played

How are things going in Athens?

Hats off to both of you. I was never a "cat guy" til we moved here...Love our barn cats... BTW, the horse we found was picked up by the Sherriff Tuesday. If no one claims him in 10 days, my wife wants to pay all of the fees and get him back...

Kopp's "high basketball IQ" shot Northwestern right out of a few games last year. As I've said on more than a few posts, his shot selection was terrible a lot of times, especially if he was missing early. I saw Jerome operate inside effectively more that a few times. Not only on post ups, but running the baseline. And as the year went along, Jerome got much better on especially on the ball (and I will concede that I think Kopp is a better team defender...I saw Jerome lost on defense more than once, particularly at the beginning of the year)... And yeah, it's a matter of opinion...And as I said, Woody will be the final arbiter...

Very difficult to compare 2 players on different teams...As I said, their minutes and roles are different, and that's all based on the personnel around them and how deep a team is at their position... Shooting aside, I think Jerome is a better rebounder, better inside player, and a marginally better defender...I don't think either player is an especially good (or willing for that matter) passer... I'll say this...now that they are on the same team, the only opinion that will count will be Mike Woodson's...

Me too...I always thought that might be Anthony Leal as an upperclassman...

Good thing you're not working with Shitakes...
-
Yeah, I acknowledged that in a subsequent post...

I stated above I thought Audige, Nance, Beren, and Ryan Young all played better than Kopp last year... I thought for the most part during Northwestern's 13 game losing streak he shot 37% overall and 25% from 3...And yes, he (and Boo Buie) shot them out of a few of those games...

No one is saying (at least I'm not) that we don't want Kopp...I think maybe the change of scenery, offense, and recovery from whatever his finger issues are could lead to him being a valuable piece...But I do think Jerome Hunter is as good, if not better, option at this point...
