He's got great form, and I'm sure he puts up plenty of shots in practice...It's his confidence that needs rebuilding...He's a confident kid overall, but I saw him miss some shots badly last year...I don't know, maybe the hand affected him more than what was thought... And I would not be surprised if he shot 40+ % from 3 this year...

We definitely have other options...

Fair point, but he also has to realize that...As I said, if he misses a couple, he's not the kind that tries to do other things to help win...He keeps shooting and his shot selection suffers...It was terrible in the last 4 or 5 games I saw him play...That has to stop...

I know I am the Grand High Lord of Optimism around here, but I'm a little reluctant on this one... I've watched quite a few Northwestern games these past few years, and Kopp impressed me as a sophomore. He's a good shooter when his confidence is up. When it's not, his shot selection goes south as he tries to shoot himself out of it. He's not a particularly good defender, rebounder, or passer. Maybe the change in scenery will help, and I also noticed during last season he had a wrap on his off shooting hand and fingers (left) for a good part of the season. Maybe that was some of it...His last 9 games last year he shot 30% overall and 20% from 3 including an 0-11 performance vs Maryland... If he can regain his confidence, he can help us...I certainly hope so...

My estimation he's not a B1G guard. Doesn't shoot it well enough to compensate for getting abused on the defensive end... And Purdue has a bevy of guards... If we didn't already have a stacked backcourt, I'd be afraid he'd look at IU...Fife recruited him and was a big advocate of his during their time at MSU... I'm thinking maybe one of the Michigan directional schools would be a good fit...
