Bucket List Food Experience in each State
Mile they have your Rocky Mountain Oysters listed for Montana! However, Colorado trout sounds pretty good!
Kansas gets credit for the massive, 3X outside the bun pork tenderloin, while the Hoosier state gets hung with pudding from some persimmon festival!?!?
Sacrilege!

Sure, if you'll sign a waiver stating that should you lapse into a sugar driven diabetic coma and have to be toted off to Sacred Heart that I'm in no way culpable...
It is seriously the only food I've ever eaten that made my face tingle...

Now the best Donut Shop in each state!
While I'll overlook the slight to Shipley's Donuts in Texas (their donuts aren't that great...the vast majority of people go there for the kolaches I've mentioned a time or 2), I cannot give them a pass on Florida.
Anyone who's ever been to The Donut Hole in Destin will tell you their Little Angels (vanilla cream filled) or their Little Devils (chocolate cream filled) donuts are a life altering experience.
So rich and decadent you can only eat 1...

Huh...I thought for sure Texas would be smoked sausage or brisket...
Some recipes in there I'm going to try, but for the New York Cheesecake I'll stick my Maggiano's recipe.

The Astros have no left hand pitchers on their world Series Roster. When is the last time that has happened and name the team(s)
Lol. Excellent trivia question. I looked it up so I'll give others a chance. But the reason is even more funny. It'll have Scott break dancing.

Seafood one of my favorites! Admittedly have not been through the list yet, it was a12 hour day today!
Been to the Anchorage in Somers Point, NJ, and while it's good, Charlie's Bar and Restaurant is nearby with some of the best buffalo wings ever...And I'll pick wings over seafood every time.
And 30 years ago, Pennsylvania would have been Old Bookbinders, hands down. Sadly, it went bankrupt after the original owner died and his kids tried to renovate it and ran it into the ground.

Tony Clonniger (sp) is the only pitcher to do it so he is my guess.
Yep, good going! One of the weird occurrences that make baseball great

So one more in the "2 grand slams in one game" column...
One player who accomplished the feat...
The first grand slam was the first of his career. The second was his last...
He's the only player from his position to accomplish the feat...
And, he eventually played for the Cincinnati Reds (although he wasn't when he hit the 2 Granny's in one game)
Who was he?

So I am watching the Oregon/Washington football game yesterday and a very interesting question is asked. It seems that UW is one of three FBS schools whose football stadium can be accessed by water.
Can you name the other two?
Neyland Stadium (Tennessee), and McLane Stadium (Waco, TX...Baylor).
I knew the latter, had to look up the former...

OK mile, maybe you will agree with this Colorado choice.😀 I have my doubts though as it is a bit different from all of the other states.

Jersey Mikes-Jersey✓
Skyline Chili-Ohio✓
Culvers-Wisconsin✓ (although the cheese curds are probably soggy and salty today after the whuppin The Whinin Illini put on old Bucky)
Yeah, that's the best list they've had yet. I've eaten at probably half of them. Good stuff...

Pure guess Frank Robinson. I know he hit 2 in same game. I believe back to back innings but no sure about who was on base.
Who is only player to hit Grand Slams in same inning?
Yessir!
For your question, "There was something in the air that night, the stars were bright, Fernando."
Oh my God...I'm quoting ABBA songs...

Found a good one...
Who is the only player to hit grand slams in consecutive innings with the same 3 players on the same bases each time?

A) I laughed way harder than I should have at this. Well done.
B) Can't help but think of Chris Rock's riff on Marion Barry. "Smoked crack, got his job back. Who was he running against? What was the other guy on....heroin? *slurred speech* Vote for me! Vote for me! Don't vote for crack, vote for smack!"
" You can't get caught smoking crack at McDonalds and get your job back!"

And now the most Iconic food from every state, I actually think they did a pretty good job with this list.
I thought they did a good job, but 2 I didn't agree with...NJ pork roll over sub sandwiches (tell that one to anyone who's ever been to White House Subs) and choosing chicken fried steak over brisket for Texas...uh, no...

From the sounds of it, I like the Texas version better Also sounds like a winner for breakfast.
Oh, me too.
If you see a Shipley's box someone has brought in for all to enjoy at my workplace, it's rarely donuts...

Kolaches...
Although it is pretty much a breakfast staple here in Texas, but I'd never heard of them before I moved here...
Word is, Kolaches are a Czech pastry which is normally filled with fruit...Texans said to hell with that, and stuffed it with smoked sausage, cheddar cheese, and jalapenos...Among other things...Shipley's donuts make the best I've tasted...
