The big 10 has been a very competitive conference too to bottom the last few years. Just doesn’t have the top few teams capable of making deep runs. I like to see the conference so good especially when IU is a part of it. NW and PSU performance last night were a plus for the conference. They have to 10 teams all they wanted. If PSU shoot normal 3pt percentage they win

Edey can only play one way. 5ft and in. Clogs the lane and keeps others from being able to drive. No one on Purdue wants to shoot or can shoot consistently from the outside. Pack it in. You are correct if we are a 5 we probably were a 5 before yesterday’s game. It’s based on the whole season. Not the last game or the last 5 games. The fact they had us as 4 In mid February. We still have a chance to be 4. They might have moved us down. But that would have happened before Saturday’s game and maybe even before Friday

To me it doesn’t matter if we are a 4 or 5. The matchups are more important with the region being next thing to consider. Would be nice to make it to second week and be in Louisville. IU fans will travel but Louisville would be packed and help create a home court atmosphere

The real issue yesterday was we didn’t hit perimeter shots JHS missed some shots he had been making. He makes a few of those and we have game pressure on PSU. The defense could have fees off that. It’s simple we need to make some jump shots. Do that and we can beat any team we play. Don’t and we can loose to any body. It makes the tournament scary. But this team can play with anybody or get rolled by a good guard oriented team. Not sure they can shoot good for two or 3 games in row I know most don’t like Bates. Could have been the block charge calls. Those were horrible calls. The goaltend was close and I thought was a bad call. For sure helped out momentum. But the 2 missed charge calls hurt a little too
