It is possible now with ledlum chose UT other players might look seriously at IU that wouldn’t have before. Cleveland is guy that fits that. Maybe the staff was going after him hard and they will now. Maybe other players reach out to IU that hadn’t in the past because of Jae hard iu was recruiting Ledlum and knecht

I think missing on knecht is a bigger deal. Banks can play some time at 4 and the 3. With ware I see both he and Malik on the floor a lot together. Hopefully sparks can backup the 5. Sparks and ware can probably play together too. Need some more depth for injuries and foul trouble but banks can play some as the 4. I truly believe both Gunn and banks can step up their games and play big minutes. Cupps is an interesting player. Really would like to get a big time scoring guard/wing to be a primary scorer. Add that and a body to fill time inside as backup to the backup. Let banks play some as a 4 and we should be good to go

Should play well with Malik as well. Be able to work the high low. Malik can back down a defender and lob it to Ware. Malik was very under rated as a passer for a freshman big man

I would prefer players that fit what the coaching staff wants to do on the floor. Maybe after talking with the coach’s some players don’t think they fit and others don’t fit what the coach’s want. We will miss in some good players but that will be the best for team chemistry and style. I have faith that the coaching staff we build a quality team. Don’t sleep in guys like Gunn and banks and the incoming freshmen

Woodson will be around for a at least 5 years and probably longer as long as he wins. May has done a great job. No guarantees he can succeed long term at a p5 school. Every get excited when a small team makes a run and the coach becomes the next great shiny thing. Event Hubert Davis made a run. Kevin Ollie did it. Woodson looks to building a program. Let him do it without try if t ok find a replacement. If he does his job when he is ready to retire we will a lot of guys wanting the job

I think the plan is to get MR some minutes at the 4 and 5. He needs to get quicker and stronger. Work on the jump shot. He has the tools. He does those things and could be effective at the 4. Let him and Banks play the time at 4. That can create good matchups

Just said the officials need to quit splitting hairs on travel calls and let them play. Ridiculous

Tamar improved as the season went on the defensive side. Just needs to see some shots go in and get consistent. Not sure if he can but he has scores mentality. If he is back and continues to work he will get a chance to prove it. Guys like him and Gunn have a chance to be big time players. There will be more opportunities with TJD leaving and IF JHS leaves

Not sure MR can’t play some out in the perimeter. Needs to work on getting a little quicker and his jump shot. But he is capable of playing both spots

Very good player Similar to MR. If MR can develop his 3pt shot it might work playing together. I too would like to see get a 6”10 athletic big guy to defend the rim and rebound. Big question is can MR handle guarding on the perimeter and guarding quicker players. If he does that and gets a 3pt shot he can play with another big guy or a smaller athletic stretch 4. That could give us some versatility. I also think Banks is a guy that could play some 4 if you need to match up and small.

I think we worry too much about getting Indiana kids. Plenty of talent all over. Get the best players to fit the style and culture.

Not much difference really. Yeah Purdue won big ten regular and tournament but failed miserably in the NCAA tournament. IU dealt with injuries and was fun to watch. Got knocked out of tournament by a quality team. Nothing to be ashamed of by the season at all. Not what we wanted but given injuries it was OK

This looks about right. I do think Gunn comes back but you never know.

Guys like Gunn, Banks and Newton for the more athletic/long player that we need. Just have to get some confidence and keep building the talent level and the program. I expect to see Woodson change his soon play based on the type of players. Even with MR I would expect a more guard heavy offensive and 3 or shooting and driving the ball next season.

Class act. For me he will always be one of the best to ever play for IU.

Still a fun and enjoyable season. Hate that it ended that way. We need to get longer and more athletic. Need to shot better and get a couple guys that make tough shots. Gunn and banks should help. Again at least it was enjoyable to watch most nights this season. Keep building in it. tonight came down to rebounding and hustle. Miami was quicker to the ball

Got out played and hustled. Couldn’t rebound and Miami got hot shooting and we can’t make open jumpers
