I thought Woodson made a good D adjustment. We didn’t over help early in drives. Let them go and meet them at the rim instead of free throw line. Also seemed to trap some of the dribble hand off and play them tighter instead of going way under and allowing ball handlers to go quick on the drive

If you make that call on Davis you have to call krowl on the last play

Davis got pushed on drive and Geronimo got pushed on hip. Neither had much contact but could have been called. That’s the crap whisky gets away with

If Logan feels believes what his grandma said then he should just leave now too. Can’t have parents or grandparents saying that shit. Maybe Logan should get some minutes. He definitely is taken them from TJD so maybe he can play 4 or 5 minutes. But nothing he has done on the court to date says he would make the better if playing more. Has a future if he puts work in but family members saying that shit only hurts his chances.

I like the idea of MR playing with TJD more. Might help him settle into game and get freed up to get some easy shots and get some confidence either way MR and JG and even Gunn have some opportunities to step up. Would be really good if all 3 do. The season and goals for the season could still be attained.

The tech on Fran should have been called. Came out of coaches box yelling at officials and IU coaching staff. Told to go back and didn’t. If you called a double tech Fran is ejected. That didn’t happen. They waved it off. Even if it doesn’t change the game Gran should have been ejected. Should have called a T as soon as he passed half court. Conner should have been given a T for charging down the the bench too The elbow by Perkins was a F1. No way around it. 2 blown calls that could have really changed game. T on JH for delay of game was weak

Not sure how that was foul on JHS. He did reach but elbow came up and hit him first. Not sure how you review and call it a basketball play. Elbow raised and extended is not a basketball play

Not sure we are as good as we thought. But better than most are giving us credit for. Our 3 loses don’t look bad now. I know the scores were bad. It the Arizona game was closer than the score. Also have to like the way Bates is starting to play

Hard to leave Cheaney and Edwards off Both are shooters and can score from anywhere Two of the smoothest offensive players ever at IU. Edwards had deep range and could shoot off the dribble can’t go wrong with either Thomas or yogi and Coverdale is a sleeper. He just competed

Bates Kopp and Galloway are all starting to play the way we need. Her JHS back and this team is a contender for the big10 and in the tournament. Davis and Johnson both had subpar games and the game was close with 5 minutes left the missed goal tending and horrible flop call completely changed momentum. My not have changed the outcome but it definitely took away the momentum. Game should have new 4 points and a charge, IU ball. Instead 10 points and lost momentum. The flop should have been a charge or no call. That was the only 2 options. Definitely contact. Malik did sell it by falling but it was enough contact to call it or just play on.

Up 3 with 7.7 seconds and foul in the backcourt with 5.8 is awful coaching. Let them cross half court and foul with under 4. Left way too much time.

Need JHS back. Really helps Johnson and gives us another scorer. I know everybody said Rutgers gave everybody the blue print to beat IU. Truth is that was the same blueprint as the last few years. Not sure it is going to work like most think. We will not shoot as bad the Rutgers game and probably not as good as tonight. But we have several guys that can knock down an open shot and make good cuts to the basket. Woodson can put TJD at the few throw line and drive or hit the open man. Might not score 20 but also won’t take a lot of shots. This team is different than teams in the past.

Carolina was supposed to have the one of the best backcourts in the country IU guards kicked their asses on both ends of the court

Carolina guards were supposed the best. IU backcourt dominated game at both ends. We finally have some guards that can play.

Johnson Galloway and JHS all should get it
