Holy crap. This is the longest sentence I have ever seen.
I have a hard time pronouncing words like antidisestableshmentarianism and supercalafragilisticexpialidocious, especially when they're transcribed by a Welchman from Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch.

Good thing we don't put names on jerseys
What I’d give to hear Harry Caray try to pronounce that name midway through his 2nd 12 pack.

Galloway will not be starting unless there's injuries.
And that’s not a bad thing. Having a multi-position senior as the first off the bench as a stabilizing presence is actually an ideal situation. And Trey won’t be short on minutes, starter or not.

With Newton’s injury, they would realistically be at 11 going in to next season if they leave the scholly open. We all hope he can play, but that’s a big question mark at this time.
Even if he can play some, I don’t feel good about Leal and Newton as Carlyle’s backups. And thus is the beauty of the amorphous nature of the combo guard. Just hypothetically, let’s say our “starting” backcourt is Rice and Carlyle. If either one goes down, odds are you’d insert Galloway into the starting lineup. If it’s Rice that goes down, yes it leaves you without a “true” point, but Galloway or Carlyle are as decent a stopgap as any, and you could also have Cupps getting a few extra minutes. If it’s Carlyle that goes down, Galloway still starts at the 2, with Newton or Leal likely picking up a few extra minutes.

Well, only goes to prove that you can't believe everything you read on X...
Don't get much more sourced than that 🙂
I believe the technical term for that is a “journalistic pimp-slap”.

That's about as over the top as saying we could lose every game and people would still be on here saying how awesome Woodson is and he just needs more time.
Valid. There’s always going to be extremes in both directions.
Although there would be absolutely no defense if we lost every game. Unless they changed the location of every fire alarm in every building we were in.

And some people struggle to see a different view and respectfully discuss topics sometimes, right?
I doubt any of your over exaggerations are accurate, but carry on.
The tone of my post was intended to be hyperbolic. As in, not to be taken literally, but translated as “Some IU fans never seem to be happy with anything”.

Interesting wrinkle for potential grad transfers, especially those wanting to go through the draft process.
Might start to see some seniors throw their name in "just in case" only to pull back out.

Amazing...
Those were all those crap teams he was on that routinely lost 1-0 or 2-0 when Ryan pitched.

And once Harry butchered it, he'd try to pronounce it backwards
Which depending on the name, didn't usually sound much worse.

Couldn't crack single digits either, but I suppose when Steve Rogers is your highest % pick....not a bad day. 13
And funny that we both used Burnitz in different slots.

I saw that name and thought "Fisch is going to sound like Harry Caray after a 12 pack trying to pronounce that" 😂

I figured it was Sparks decision to leave? Assume he's looking for more minutes.
Minutes and just overall comfort level I'd assume, given he transferred back to BSU.

Elly De La Cruz 😍
using the opposite field like a vet, currently... He's made two plays defensively, 70ft down the line from third base, this season, as well. Insane talent.
.295/.402/.641
Leading the league in steals and switch hits
Insane talent......if he keeps it consistent. There were times last year where you had to wonder if he forgot to pack his brain on a road trip.

And people get too caught up in "1st round picks 10-30"... there just isn't that much difference between the 40th-best prospect and the 12th-best, a lot of the time.
As much as I hate the Patriots, they proved that if you build around the right QB and solid line play on both sides, that skill positions can be swapped and filled as needed.

I've always said halfway in jest that if I were an NFL GM, unless we're talking about an absolute slam dunk like a Joe Burrow, Andrew Luck, Calvin Johnson, etc, I'd take nothing but OL, DL and LBs in the first four rounds of the draft.
