Yep. To think that McFadden, who only made contact with the QB because he was shoved in the back by an offensive lineman, was punished the same as a guy running top speed and launching himself like a spear into someone’s helmet, is beyond stupid.

Some of the calls against PSU have been so bad they are laughable. Mistakenly making Franklin punt on third down? WTF! How the hell do IU and PSU get “homered” even though they are the home teams? Kind of crazy.

His OSU game was definitely special but aside from that he had a very good year. 11 catches against MSU, 142 yards against UM, had at least one TD in 4 straight games (against BT, no non-conference cupcakes, last year), media 1St team BT and coaches 2nd team BT, etc etc. Doesn’t look the same this year (and in fairness to him neither does his QB).

Let’s see if they win tonight but gotta say….if I was a PSU recruit at the game tonight I’d be pretty damn impressed. Looks like a great time. It’s sort of funny/surprising that the PSU’ “white-out” record is only 6-6.

I really feel bad for Penix. Seems like a great kid, has worked hard to come back from serious season ending injuries (multiple times) but for whatever reason, and no fault of their own, some kids are just injury prone. Hope he is OK.

At least he saw a great environment but yes…a win would have been helpful.

When it comes to IU sports I am ambidextrous and can handle both football and basketball at the same time. Looking forward to the rest of the football season and Woody’s first.

It is unbelievable. With this fumble we have left 13-21 points on the field. Refs have screwed us but we have also blown a lot of chances.
