I love how the site has just gotten back up and running and we’re in the middle of Brad-mania and you still find time to talk a little NFL as soon as you can.

I had wondered about this scenario whenever the topic of teams sitting out conference tournaments came up. The NCAA needs to get a handle on this and fast. That means it will turn into a giant mess.

I think they will look at close losses and such. I just hate that we have put ourselves in this position. I still maintain that going 0.500 in B1G is a stone cold lock to get in. Sub 0.500 makes me nervous. Not impossible, but no guarantees at that point.

Sounds like a couple of more winter storms are heading this was next week. The school district I work for told us to start making plans in case we’re out all week next week.

I’m pretty’s sure refs are independent contractors. They can work as many conferences as will have them and conferences can hire the ones they want.

I saw this on another site I was looking at last night. It does not include the two games that have been postponed. According to ESPN, likelihood to win in the rest of our games.. Illinois 40% Iowa 31% Northwestern 63.5% Ohio State 34.3% Minnesota 69.4% Michigan State 70.9% Rutgers 48.1% Michigan 39.6% Purdue 49% Clearly the first Iowa game shows that these aren't the be all end all. However, it does give an idea of the challenge that lies ahead. Hopefully we get things together to get to that 10-10 conference record you mentioned.

We obviously knew about the 4 HS in 4 years deal when we were recruiting him initially. That must not concern the staff. I am curious what happened at Miami. If he checks out, sign him up.

We were one of the lucky programs that managed to schedule our max number of games and not have any non conference games lost. I do wish the B1G would get a little creative and maybe move some games up, if schedules allow, to avoid layoffs and leave some room later for make ups. I know this isn’t ideal, but these are strange times.

I don’t think we can do that. We are at our NCAA allowed 27 games scheduled this year. I agree with the premise, but unless this game is cancelled and not just postponed we can’t.
