  1. Based on reading the tea leaves, I am guessing at this point that the Bears second round of interviews for GM will be: Poles, Brown, Khan, and maybe 1 other?
  2. Maybe Howard is becoming stubborn/headstrong/cocky and not listening to him? Just a guess as I honestly haven't watched them play this season.
  3. @IUFLAwe need you to keep doing the pregame threads. I got accustomed to having the starting time/lineups and synopsis about the opponent right at the beginning of the thread. And yes, I am lazy and don't want to look it up on my own!
  4. Poles will have second GM interview with Bears on Tuesday and Vikings on Wednesday I believe. He is the first Bears GM candidate to receive second interview.
  5. I could get behind Togas becoming socially acceptable attire.
  6. I hope NY hires Frazier so the Bears won't hire him.
  7. First domino falls. Good hire for the Giants. I'm guessing Daboll follows him to NY.
  8. Meat Loaf was one of those artists for me that I wouldn't sit down and play his albums at home or in the car, however, I liked quite a few of his songs, and whenever they would be played on the radio or a playlist, I enjoyed hearing it and would never turn the station or skip it. RIP
  9. Really glad for these upperclassmen getting their first "W" against PU. It was only fitting that Rob made the game winning shot. One other thing...this IU team really does have a great group of kids who make it easy to root for them. This is a very unselfish group as TJD proved last night. He was cheering harder than anyone while on the bench with foul trouble, and again lifting Rob up after the victory. Bates hasn't gotten a ton of minutes lately, but I saw him up and cheering wildly for his teammates as well. Others have spoken about how Lander has maintained a great attitude despite limited minutes. It is obvious this team has worked their butts off on the defensive side of the ball. Which tells me they are buying in to TEAM basketball. Kudos to coach Woodson and assistant coaches for leading and teaching the right way. Glad for all of them they got to experience that scene last night and celebrate with their friends afterwards. GO HOOSIERS!!
  10. Whatever it was...good for Galloway! I love that he can get under opponents skin. Exactly the type of kids that I love seeing play at IU.
  11. Wins against ranked O$U and PU will definitely bolster IUs tourney resume.
  12. Really happy for Durr tonight too. He doesn't see a ton of action and stepped up huge when the team needed him. That speaks alot about him and his mental toughness.
  13. Great TEAM win. Way to fight Hoosiers with TJD in foul trouble all game!
  14. Glad to see Rob playing so well...especially against PU. Geronimo is really turning it on lately. Love watching him play.
  15. Step on their throat in the second half! No mercy...win by 20!! Go Hoosiers!! PS...Make the damn free throws please!!
  16. I believe the Giants are onto second round of GM interviews and Vikings just finished their 8th and final first GM interview today. Things should get rolling this weekend/next week. After Dodds withdrew, I think my two favorites for GM are Smith and Kahn. Wolfe and Poles are interesting as well. Wolfe is the only one of those who has had an interview thus far. Actually, I don't even see the other 3 scheduled yet. You have any favorite(s) you are rooting for?
  17. Don't get me wrong. I am glad a football guy is sitting in to facilitate things. My concern is that they still have 6 (I believe) GM candidates to interview and are scheduling second interviews for head coach on Monday. Unless is it Harbaugh, I don't want the Bears to hire a head coach before a GM. That is similar to what happened when they forced Fox on Pace. Hire the GM and let them have final say on the head coach.
  18. I think Jags will probably still end up hiring Leftwich, but Eberflus must be doing a great job on his interviews. I can't speak for Jags, but he wasn't considered one of the favorites when Bears started their search. On a side note Eberflus sounds like a name out of Harry Potter. Professor Eberflus, the new potions instructor.
