  1. Yep. My bad. I guess the Archie years kind of blend together, or maybe I tried to block that game from my memory!
  2. As I first suspected when this search began, they seem to have absolutely no idea what the hell they are doing. It seems to make no sense...they still have a bunch of GM candidates they haven't interviewed, and have now pushed back Brown to Monday, the same day Eberflus is now interviewing for second time... I am hoping there is something happening behind the scene that will be revealed to make this all make sense after search is complete, meanwhile I just keep shaking my head.
  3. I still can't believe how they laid an egg last year when Coach Knight was there. That was one of the worst regular season losses/ performances I've ever witnessed.
  4. My nieces/nephew went to Noblesville schools. The girls ran cross country for them. This is a great looking gym...too bad they ruined it with the Green Bay Packer style "G" emblem/colors.
  5. I did notice the soccer markings. If someone were to just show me a picture of that facility, I would have guessed it was for smallish colleges. Never would have guessed high school. Do any high schools in Indiana have anything like that (I'm wondering about Hamilton County schools especially)?
  6. I just saw this...here is a Texas high school practice facility for football
  7. Live look at the Purdue cheerleading squad loading up for the drive down to Bloomington...
  8. They did. Then the Bills offensive coordinator, Daboll, had head coaching interviews with Bears and Dolphins the next day. If I were him I would just be like "So...did you watch the game last night?"
  9. I was not happy with the hire at the time. I felt like Woodson would be an excellent X's and O's coach, and develop players well, but due to his age, I was concerned with recruiting and longevity (I felt the team would have to have a very quick turnaround vs a younger coach). Thus far, I like his player development for the most part. I was hoping Lander would be further along, but I have no idea what is going on in practices, so maybe he is making progress. From what I can see, he has done very well here. He has recruited better than I thought he would thus far. I was impressed he kept TJD, Race, and most of the other returning players, and was able to recruit some nice players. If he is able to have this team keep improving and making the tourney this year, I would call it a fairly successful season. He has a great coaching staff and I will expect him/the team to take another step in the right direction next season. I try to be open minded and fair. We should give him the same chances that Miller and Crean received. I really hope he is able to right the ship and then hand it off to Fife in 5-7 years.
  10. Bears making me nervous. Scheduling a second interview for HC before they hire a GM. Hopefully they hire the GM before the second round of interviews for HC and aren't going to try to force a coach on the GM, but this is the Bears so all bets are off.
  11. Of the ten head coaching candidates the Bears are interviewing...I would not be unhappy with Eberflus. He is kind of middle of the pack for me...I would take him over Leslie Frasier and Caldwell for sure. I am rooting for the Bears to hire Dodds for GM. Here is the updated spreadsheet for any interested in the 15 general manager candidates and 10 head coaching candidates plus their interview dates... https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/13A8xSc9-AOnuNacziYlKdhBOqOmcqsQ-_yWHfxTlClE/edit#gid=0
  12. Whoo Hooo a first road win! Great job Geronimo in this game. Really hope TJD is okay and will be able to play Thursday... Speaking of Thursday...Onto Kicking PUs ass!!!
  13. This may interest Bears and Colts fans...
  14. Just saw this from December about Nagy's offense....
  15. I don't think I would have survived doing all three. Originally I was supposed to coach basketball. Then the former baseball coach quit, so I volunteered because I actually prefer baseball. I didn't coach basketball the next year ha. Coincidentally, the football coach friend of mine is the same guy I referenced in another thread about being a big Raiders fan and rooting against the Colts vs. New Orleans in the Superbowl at my house.
  16. I did back to back coaching one year while teaching. Basketball/baseball...7th/8th graders. I was so exhausted by the time summer rolled around. To top it off, I was good friends with the head football coach, and he kept trying to recruit me as an assistant. I asked him if he was trying to kill me.
  17. Today for dinner I made a run to the local Culvers to bring back some food while watching the games. Double cheeseburger, onion rings, and cheese curds. Cardiologist appointment pending.
