  1. 7 points in 30 seconds....it seemed like it took 30 minutes to score 7 points last season at times.
  2. Really enjoying the scrapping and fight in this IU team tonight. Defense has been great. Loved seeing IU jawing right back at the St. John's players and even better....backing it up on the court.
  3. That would have definitely freaked me out. Glad you are feeling better and it only lasted a little while!
  4. I think we have one 60 degree day and 1 or 2 in the 50s. Hopefully, not real windy those days...so I can finish up my to do list. My wife is already on me to put up Christmas decorations!
  5. The kids were happy for the snow today, but I need a few more 50/60 degree days to finish up some stuff outside before winter sets in. It has been really windy around us too the past few days (40-45 mph winds today).
  6. Just kinda shaking my head at this point. Not sure what is left to say.
  7. I would be more concerned about this game last season with the pack line defense...I am optimistic that our D will be improved this season.
  8. Definitely agree about Warrant. I honestly have no idea who is even singing for Warrant anymore. I like .38 Special as well. On a side note, I think Uncle Tom's Cabin was Warrants best song.
  9. Yep...it's a good thing that the Bears cheap ass ownership decided to give the brilliant offensive guru Nagy another season... Another throw away season for the Bears and their fans.
  10. Ugly game but... 2-2 is better than 1-3. Hopefully Matthews is ok. Onto the next...
  11. When I first started teaching I got a job and moved out to the coast of North Carolina (Morehead City area). It was super nice and plenty of outdoor activities to do. The heat and humidity during summer were similar to Indiana to me...but it wasn't too bad since we were right on the coast with the breezes etc. However, if you went inland about 30-45 minutes it felt considerably hotter. I lived there just over two years and it snowed maybe 3 times...once we got 5 inches of snow overnight, but it melted by the end of the next day. Typically, 1-2 wet snows a winter there...maybe 1-3 inches of total accumulation all season. Probably not a big demand for chemists there, but if you can tolerate the heat/humidity, Raleigh/Cary area was really nice, as was Charleston when we visited for almost a week.
  12. Down 6 with decent field position and plenty of time...Here we go...
  13. Yep. If IU loses this game, they truly beat themselves today. So many chances...
