During my college years, I was actually hired as a beta tester. There were three of us. One from Fresno, one from Winona and myself.

I'm 52 and I have my name on the pre-order list for the new Oculus Quest 2 VR set. I only got this on order for the grand kids, this crap is just silly.... They should be enjoying splitting firewood and raising calves! 😀

They did shaves. I never got one.  First barber for me in that shop was a lady barber. Jackie was her name.  And she was great.  When she left... I got the owner of the shop.  And as I said... the prices kept going up and up... til I quit going.

I knot this isn't a haircut thread, but since we are talking about them.... I got a great hair cut in Ireland a couple years ago. 😀

  3. My first though on how far the Scope will jump backwards, it is equal to how firm your shoulder is. Flimsy/ Hard. But I get reminded often now that I am just too much of a hard casse.

But lets shift a little more towards me.

I found a back pack in the middle of the road this weekend. Thinking that I would find some contact info inside, I went back after it.

I found 150 rounds of 9mm Blazer Hollow points, Mags for a Glock Pistol. Standard stubby for a model 43, a 33 round stick and a 50 round drum. ALL fully loaded.

The more I dug into the backpack, it said it was now mine. :)

Now, I'm off to find my new 9mm Glock or Ruger PC Carbine... hmmmmm

I’m going to say you definitely need to find out from the supplier/manufacturer. Obviously there are products that adhere readily to PVC or you wouldn’t get the incredible picture. The question remains what will adhere to the artwork? Did they already laminate a clear layer to protect the artwork? What was that? Questions only the manufacturer can answer? It’s possible the artwork could be second surface or on the backside of clear PVC?

All good points, thank you. I've obviously got some research to do. THank you sir.

I put up a wall mural. Took 2 people and a lot of time and patience. I don't see why you couldn't poly over it. Manufacturer have any recommendations?

It came out of China and I have not been able to get them to reply.

Yes it has been dead a while now. We’re putting a fence in so it needs to go before it breaks a part of it.

The tomatoes get some sun but not a ton. Do they need full sun?

Yea they do need some sun and I think direct is preferred, but why I asked was more about correlating how my plants have done this year. I used Straw bale gardening a couple years ago and it was awesome. This year I tested the same, only the bales are wrapped in a plastic bag. I was experimenting with this holding the moisture in better for the dry part of the summer. I am not impressed with this years crop. It actually seems that the moisture retention is worse than just plan ole bales.

Here’s where our paths divide. I’d have went with flame red engine paint to pair with the flames, later to come on the hood and the red neons shining down from the frame.

Other than that, good looking block man. 😀

I think it's mostly security theatre and lulls people into a false sense of safety

^^^^ 90% of the daily arguments would be done if we just admit that this is the core of our activity. "I" wear a mask to make "YOU" feel more safe, whether I am/ feel more safe or not. ("YOU" are those who are more risk adverse)

I have both landscaping and gardening going on.

This tree is coming down. We’re putting in a fence and it is too dead to trust. I got one part done, but I’ll need a ladder for the rest.

My tomato plants are holding on. One was eaten by the worm I posted and has recovered. I have 4 tomatoes but none are ripe. I’m impressively bad at growing things.

Per my eye, that tree has been well beyond questionable for 2-3 years at least. Put that ole girl to rest, She done.

I'm surprised that your Tomato plant's don't have more foliage (even considering the worm). do you have any holes drilled in your buckets for excess water to leak out? I'm not saying that they should or shouldn't, I'm trying to draw a correlation to a new method I tried this year.

Also, how much direct sun to those M'aitter's get a day?

I have seen houses that look like that in Kentucky. Must be a mock up for a new model. Let us know what it looks like when they exterior done.

Somewhere there is a framer setting in a corner, rocking back and forth, sucking his thumb repeating, I'm a very good driver and Kmart sucks.

Ok, that post was questionable, at best. I have it cleaned up. Lets please move on.

Thank you and to be clear, I really hate censorship, but I think that was so far beyond the pale of what you all have created here, that it only took (even me) about 2 seconds to have a WTF moment. Moving on now and thanks again.

I think it's in reference to the song video killed the radio star but I'm not getting it either. Help us out @Milosh68

That’s what I was picking up. Mom, little girl, Jesus , Covid.... the reference to the song. If @Hoosierhoopster isn’t all over this like a fat kid on a doughnut, and let’s this stand. This is just unacceptable. Hopefully there’s something I’m not seeing.

A couple of things that came to mind from the article.  People need to be encouraged to be responsible for their own health. I cant believe their isn't a national discussion on this.

Dr. Fauci sounds like he needs to brush up on some current research.  Surely the guy knows what T cells are among other new developments.

More than 2% of people have been infected by this. The thing has been around for 8 months now.

If anyone thinks that we have not been having a national discussion about this for 6 months, we don't need them in the herd to begin with. Heck, it's all we've been talking about.

So my vacation out west is finished. Flying was a breeze. Both my flights were about 1/2 full. It was good to see what's going on in other states, and seeing people get on with their lives. I keep reading that it's chaos in places like Arizona, but that is just not true. Can't wait for my next vacation at the end of the month.

I agree, I spent last week in Tucson. No Chaos, no panic, just people going on about their lives. Most had mask's in stores. Those who didn't were not hassled nor did they prevent anyone else from going on with life. Worst part of it was 109 and 40% humidity.
