The only way we will truly know the number of people infected is to do blood testing for anti bodies.

I will do it because I want to know if this is what knocked me out for 3 weeks in January.

Couple questions and yes I’m obviously an antagonist. ( is that the correct word?)

is it worth money (Yours or mine) to verify you had something 3 months ago yet changes nothing other than knowing?

I want every freaking person in the US tested, so we can put a price per person that we’ve spent 2 TRILLION dollars on, And that’s just so far.

Courts and insurance companies have a new worth of a person to calculate into their algorithm.

Not if you are  contained with your wife, well I can't speak for you but if I ordered carryout and it was delivered topless the rest of my meals would be consumed through a straw.

Some wives actually like top.....  Oh wait, this should be a thread of its own. My bad.. :)

My wife loves to landscape. She has done the front yard, both sides yards and has a great start on the back yard. We have almost 400 small rocks in her landscaping plan and countless yards of mulch. Nothing makes my day more than for her to be out doing the landscaping while I am watching her in the air conditioned house. The good news for  me is that she doesn't mind. Susan is one tough, hard working, strong willed woman. The only thing she wants me to do when it comes to landscaping is pick up truck loads of mulch and haul her landscaping boulders/rocks.

She is 24 years younger than me and I have no idea what the heck she sees in me.

Such great timing. My current wife and I just finished a conversation about me having a wife that was 24 years younger than I am.

  4. Once I got the house to 90% complete, I needed a change of pace and started a deck with a built in Trampoline for the Grand kids. I currently have this at 98% complete and started a privacy fence that looks like an old west town. I am great at starting projects.

  5. I built my house 3 years ago and like many, got it to 90% before the attention span ran out. I've come back around to finish the master bath recently. I was working in the floor pan for the stand up shower. While sipping some Bourbon as the mud cured, my baby Dachshund decided to try her hand at DIY. She's a helper like that.

I've spent all day helping figure out ATC contingency plans...

If a tower has to close down, like MDW and LAS have in the past 2 days, you can still run planes in there at a reduced rate...

If the radar approach control gets shuttered due to a worker testing positive, then the Air Route Traffic Control Center (ARTCC) can take over, again, at a reduced rate...

If someone in an ARTCC tests positive, then it gets a lot more complex.

Air travel is going to be tough for a while...

FAA has pulled in all of their Field testing people. My check ride got Postponed. And if the flights don't have any more customers on them that what I saw Monday and Tuesday, The airlines would be silly to not cancel dang near every flight anyway.

Good news.  My son came home with one package of toilet paper today, from our local grocery store.  We were not out.  But wanted to add to what we have, for fear of running out. He was told he could purchase two packages. But opted not to...in order to leave some for others.

YOu must have raised him on ex-lax because he is the shit!  (sorry, it's a play off of an ancient joke). In all seriousness, that sounds like a good young man.

  8. Finally got the plan for my company just now. Work from home until 16APR2020 unless your job requires you to be in facility. We are a 12,000 person, international company. This applies to everyone EXCEPT China, where 72% of our employees have resumed normal work activities. I work from home already so that doesn't effect me, but most of those 12,000 don't and those required in plant are in the teen's % wise. ouch.

I keep seeing Europe and Italy being brought up. I would be interested in seeing demographic data on who is infected by this. Let's not forget Europe was absolutely flooded with immigrants not long ago living in close proximity in immigrant camps.

To add to that demo data, I’d like to see bucketed data of the level of symptoms.
    1- I feel great

2- I sneezed twice but I actually used too much pepper

    3- high temp of 98.9

    4- they buried me today

My Dad use to wear plain white t-shirts when we went camping...in a pinch, he'd rip off the sleeves and make utility of those...

I have about 2 dozen plain white t-shirts...run out of those, I guess I'll go out and scoot along the grass like a dog...

I can't tell you how many times I went squirrel hunting or Mushroom hunting, as a kid and came back with a tee shirt with one sleeve. Man that made mom made as all get out!

  11. First I would like to admit that I am a Corona virus hoax denier, so take this as you will.

Isn't part of the human (species) immune system dependant on portions of the collective (think the Borg) allowing bugs to get in so that our natural systems can fight them, build antibodies and progress the hive? If we prevent this (I know natural selection sounds bad and not PC) are we not accelerating our own version of colony collapse? But then again, global warming is going to kill us all anyway so why not just drink, be merry and gain carnal knowledge of that beauty down the street, that is married to that germaphobe? You know she want's ya.

Anyone do Moonshine tasting/drinking in the Gatlinburg, TN area? I love vacationing there, and one of my favorite things to do is go moonshine tasting.

A well known restaurant, The Old Mill, has a distillery directly behind it. I tried their coffee moonshine and it was amazing!!! We are going back at the end of June and will be stocking up. Also, I can’t remember the name, but there’s a distillery at the outlet malls. Tried several of there’s that were decent, but they make a Butter Cake moonshine that is really good! Just don’t make the same mistake I did and go moonshine tasting on an empty stomach. Didn’t get super drunk but I was told I had an interesting time talking lol. Whoops!

Yes sir, I've made that walk a few times. Old Tennessee has multiple different locations that provide tasting. Note: the different locations don't communicate so you can go back and forth between them for a fun filled staggering good time.

Our last trip down, I bought enough to get a free cooler, one of their promotions that day. Just down the street, there is pretty nice winery, that also offers samples. This worked out well for the wife. So off up into the mountains we went, to the cabin we rented. Cloths off, bottles in hand, into the hot tub on the back deck, which was only about 6' off the ground.

The wife kept hoping to see a bear. Well I'll be damned, her wish came to, WAY too true. You see, the hot tub was off in one corner of the deck, away from the door into the house. This bear used that as a tactical advantage, as she obviously smelled Yankee's simmering in the life size hot pot. Up the post the bear came, trapping us away from the door. I am not sure if she ever saw one before, but we showed her two white bare asses as we freaked out.

She must have thought we needed to cook longer, as she jumped down and walked off with her cubs.
