Ok, i REALLY like this lineup on paper. Not sure how its guna work out though.

This might cause some to get their toeches n pitchforks out.....but i think we need to get some of the 2nd unit guys in. Our starters look cooked.

How do we look so good one trip down the floor then look like a 2nd grade team the next??? If CMW wasnt bald when he got here, im sure he'd be close by now.

Sparks is too slow.
To guard Chedder or Shredder or 💩er....whatever it is....yes.

UM pg going to be an issue for us with Trey/Cupps on the floor. Neither are quick enough to keep up with him.

I have thought all along that Dolson and some other boosters really want ARE,.....BUT it's contingent on building an impressive staff of assistants to surround him. I also think they definitely want Frye in the fold and would be a big piece of the puzzle to compliment ARE. JMO. I checked back in with my old IU room mate who's worked in IU athletics for years. He still says his source thinks it's ARE..... Just passing along what's been shared with me. We will know soon enough how true the rumors are.
This is a big picture question, nothing directed at you.......but,
Whats the difference between making sure ARE has a grade A, top of the line coaching staff to make sure he is successfull that can cover up his potential warts and doing the same for FCTA??

The inability to keep the ball in front of them and the constant help inside all but guarantees the other team will be in the game and eventually that's going to burn them against a poorer team.
CJ and Banks are the most disappointing so far this season but Galloway's lack of input is shocking this far into his career.
By no means DPOY or anything, but I thought CJ's defense hase been pretty good so far this year. We dont win our last game without Bank's defesive effort. We need them both to keep getting better, but there has been clear improvement.

It wasn't on a dead sprint though... XJ threw it when CJ was on a dead sprint, then CJ slowed down for no reason at all.
13:35... CJ goes and gets alligator arms and slows down... only reason it looked like he over threw him.
Ok, first @BGleas uses video evidence to prove me wrong and now you....when did this become a place where facts and proof are used to make a point and not irrational arguments and baseless hills to die on!?
I already ate my crow on that one, thanks. 😁

Someone commented on Twitter I believe that he shoots differently pre game compared to in game. Just curious if anyone has seen this live and what they see as different in the two
Judging with my highly untrained eye, it looks like he is shooting on the way down from his jump. That, and the kid is SOOOOO wound up; if he could bring the energy down to an 8.5 or so on his jump shots i think he'd be a lit better. The 3 he took after a whistle i the UConn game was smooth as hell and he even rolled his eyes when it went in.

You mean X threw a pass that hit Gunn in both hands, Gunn dropped it then saved it to no one?
It hit him in the middle fingers, completely outstretched and on a dead sprint. Even if he coulda caught it clean he wasnt in a position to do anything with it.

So had to work late and just finished watching the game. I've been kinda hard on Sparks and mostly Walker and I gota give them both a bunch of credit for how they played today! They both played their butts off today and along with the zone we pulled out our @$$ were a huge reason we won. I still dont want Walker shooting outside of 8ft but the rest of what hr did today i believe is where he will shine.

Ok, so with Malik out now, do we move MM to the 4 and go smaller finally or do we run with Sparks/Walker and Ware?

Thst why he should be playing the 4 with the 2nd unit. We really don't need Walker out there.
Walker needs to be the 3rd unit 5. He's long, bouncey and athletic. He is not a perimeter defender or shot taker. If he would play to his strengths and not what will make it on sportscenter he could be a valuable piece late in the year.

At some point Gunn has to actually make some shots if he's going to play.
Ur not wrong. Ive defended him since he got here and i think he's close, but this is neither horse shoes or hand gernades.

Gunn has touched it three times and shot it every single time.
A wide open 3, an in rythm jumper off a curl that was open and a layup that he got fouled on. He's out there to take (and make which hasnt happened yet) shots, he isnt forcing them at this point.
