TJD elbows Reece in the face, which should have been offensive, but they call a defensive foul. But, they don't want to foul out Reece, so they call the defensive foul on a guy that had nothing to do with the play and touched nobody. You're clearly right, but at the same time, they did that right. As a general rule, if a guy has 4 fouls, at least 2 of them are questionable, so I'm all for the refs putting them on guys who aren't in foul trouble. Fouling guys out is refs putting a big stamp on the game, and it's often arbitrary, I'm all for them trying to mitigate that. 1 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
