And turnover the guards. Edey can’t beat you if he doesn’t have the ball. That’s where they struggled against IU last year.

XJ & TG are rugged Big Ten guards

Purdue wasn’t ready for that….same as Rutgers, NW & Maryland

Lance Jones got that dawg in him…already got a T in first game

Lance v XJ….should be worth watching

I’m guessing you guys have Purdue’s full attention after last year

You're bragging about lance jones getting a T against Samford in a 40+ point blowout?

Yep

he…like XJ will stir it up and not back down

You should watch XJ away from the ball…it’s a show

last year Gillis committed a hard foul and TJD ran from half court and drilled him in the chest….nobody did anything including the refs

NW Maryland & Rutgers tried to punk everyone….XJ at least stood up to them

So…yes.   Give me XJ or Lance

Watching parts of the PU- Gonzaga game. Trey Kaufman-Renn is their Mgbako. Highly touted player who is unplayable on either end.

Honestly, he needs to back up Edey. The paint gets too clogged when he and Edey are in together. Runs a lot better when Furst is in. TKR is a solid back-up 5 to Edey.

lol. Out of HS he wanted to play the 3 or maybe stretch 4. Now he's only playable as a 5.

I mean he put on a good amount of weight (probably too much JMO) which is why he’s done well at the 5. He’d need to work a lot on his speed/quickness to be a better 4. Seems like he’s a lot different now than the player he was in high school but I think the 5 is his best position right now. Crazy how things change.

It’s not that he’s only playable as a 5 but rather it’s the best fit for him/Purdue at the 5. He can play the 4 when we plays teams that don’t have a quick/athletic 4 man.
