rico
A dear friend of mine and I always get into "deep" sports discussions. Yesterday the topic was who the best college basketball team was that didn't win the championship. Our top 3 with no arguments between us were: 1. 1975 Indiana Hoosiers 2. 1983 Houston Cougars 3. 1985 Georgetown Hoyas Were we right? Who else would you add to the list? rico
Personally, I think that '78 UK team got lucky. Minnesota should have won the title that year.

Maedhros
My favorite entry on this list: a team with six NBA players, ranked 1st for all but four weeks that season, and still the only team to finish 1st in both offense and defense in the KenPom era... Your 2002 Duke Blue Devils

dgambill
Wilts 56 Kansas team…61-62 Ohio St with Havlicek and Lucas…97-98 UNC with Jameson and Carter…I think others mentioned several Houston teams that should have won it.

That UNC group (plus Doherty) against Alford and Marty Simmons as freshman, Blab, Giomi, Stew Robinson and Dakich. It was magical watching Dakich switch on Jordan, Perkins, Smith and Daugherty
