I'll go with the prior. Missing bowl games, year after year after year is forfeiting 4-5 weeks of practice, reps, experience, and development every single year that just puts us farther in the hole. Not to mention spotlight that we are missing. The program is literally a season behind for every 4-5 years we miss a bowl. I don’t disagree that just getting 6 wins by any means necessary is important but from my viewpoint, it was probably a mistake to even schedule the series in the first place IMO.
