Even with 8 seconds left, it wouldn't surprise me if they didn't want to run a play with no timeouts left. Not saying I agree or disagree with it, but could have been part of it. I think that is the biggest difference between him and Penix. Teams can't get a pass rush on Penix because he's decisive and the ball comes out quick. Last game of the year, it’s time to empty out the playbook. Trick plays, new formations, whatever we got needs to be utilized if we are going to win.
