A lot to like and dislike in that series. I actually bought into the hype and helped fund part1 got the Tshirt somewhere? Steubenhoosier
I find Life Below Zero very entertaining. The people are ingenious and resourceful. Their challenges are real, not contrived.
Drroogh
Didn’t even know they had made a 4th Matrix movie? Saw it advertised on Tubi and watched. Thought it was almost as good as the original!

I don’t think that was Ayn’s point at all it was all the socialism AND elitism that was sucking the doers dry. And yes we need to take heed! DWB
I suspect I'm late to the party, but watching a series on Paramount+ call Limitless. Started out a little slow, but after a couple of episodes, I'm kind of liking it. Was also reminded today about watching "House". Loved his sarcasm.

mrflynn03
I watched Quaterback on Netflix over the weekend. It follows Patrick Mahomes, Kirk Cousins, and Marcus Mariota over the 2022 season. It includes some family stuff and really personalizes them. I thought it was really good. Mahomes wife gets pretty annoying though.
mrflynn03
With the new series Masters of Air coming soon I figured I'd rewatch The Pacific. Seen Band of Brothers multiple time through. First time watching The Pacific it seemed disorganized and I wasn't too impressed. I haven't read the books yet, but I've read the bios of the writers The Pacific was built on. Second time watching this week and I think it's worth a watch. It depicts the brutality of the war in the Pacific but its also much more personal. Where BoB follows a unit The Pacific gets down to the individual and really highlights the mental struggles. Both series get a 10/10. The last episode of The Pacific was refreshing, provides some relief from the previous episodes. Edit: last episode made me cry Edit 2: Bill "hoosier" Smith came from Loogootee Edited October 19, 2023 by mrflynn03
