Curry’s first was absolutely terrible and he picked up 3 in the first half, where the Celts got a big lead. Are you trading that for more Steph minutes/freedom to play without fouls?

It was an easy call. Horford also came forward and gave him no where to land. It sucks and it wasn’t a dirty play, but that’s the rule.

We really just need a very slight improvement there - we are shooting good enough to keep teams honest. Slight increase in percentage, and an increase in volume to spread the floor more, will be a great thing for our offense.

Exactly, and the offensive improvement happened because Kerr got Steph off the ball and running laps around the defense.

I am very confident Mark Jackson wouldn’t have won a championship. He did a good job of laying a defensive foundation but the Warriors offense exploded under Kerr, not Jackson, in large part because of the scheme. And to the point about Phil, why didn’t other coaches even make the Finals with those two if they could have done what he did?

I don’t think they’re not geniuses either. Jackson won 11 titles and sure he had Jordan or Kobe for all of them, but how many Finals did those two make without Jackson? I don’t really under how you could separate Kerr from the Warriors dynasty.

That’s typically a time coaches do take big leaps, though. We aren’t spending an offseason putting a new system in for everyone, we are spending an offseason improving and perfecting that system. And then in our case, we have the best returning trio in our conference and one of the best in America. Plus we are adding two five star studs and have a few other veteran role players in guys like Galloway, Kopp, and Geronimo. Plus the wild card in how Bates develops. This team has all the makings of a top ten team. That said, we do have a bit of a question mark still in terms of another guy on the perimeter that can score and create for others. I like the possible answers there, but there is still that question mark. Our post play and point guard play should be able to compete with anyone in the country, IMO.

Y’all have the talent to win it, but you’re going to have to play better than you just did. Should be a fun series!

Wow, really dumb shot by Butler. I’m all for going for the kill but that’s not his game and there was too much time. Even if Butler hits that, Celtics have 20 seconds.

The Heat have no quit. Celtics are pretty clearly the better team IMO and I think they’ll hang on, but hard to not respect how Miami is hanging in.

They certainly could. The only outcome that would really surprise me is Boston getting blown out.

It’s hard to fathom Miami winning Game 7, because frankly Miami is just better across the board, but man do I think Sunday will be an all out battle. Two really tough, really tough games in a win or go home for the NBA Finals. Gotta love it!

Yeah he’s definitely drawn about 3 fouls that were incredibly annoying, I get that. You’ve already acknowledged it about the Celts guys, but trying watching this series as a neutral fan with all these guys on both teams. It’s like watching multiple Brad Davison’s on both teams.
