Losing sensabaugh may have an addition by subtraction type affect. Whatever it is, it ain’t workin for them.

This is the type of ground-breaking pre-game analysis that I come here for

Last year we did a great job of not letting him get position deep by the basket. He was regularly catching it 12-15 feet away. He’s nearly impossible to stop once he gets it in low, but he’s not the kind of guy that’s able to put it on the deck and make a move to get to the rim. I think we’ll be ready for him.

Quick 4’s worry me. We don’t have anyone that matches up particularly well with those kind of guys. Saw it tonight with Sensabaugh.

Same thing happened to him in the first half on a few possessions if I recall correctly. Maybe throw Banks in there for an opportunity? He played good in the minutes he was given in the first half

That’s good reasoning and I like the logic behind the decision. I just don’t think Race is back 100% (or at least it doesn’t look like it). Someone mentioned in the game thread his lateral quickness isn’t quite there and I agree. Malik isn’t quick either but I would’ve liked to see more utilization.

And honestly the game plan for the defense wasn’t too bad. Battle played an amazing game and we still limited them to 57 points. We looked lost as usual playing against a zone but it’s not like it’s a one time thing that happened under Ya.

Malik would’ve had a good shot but idk if he even played in the 2nd half? Strange…

It very well may be a hard fought game til the end. Just given TJD’s usage and minutes lately it would be nice to get him some rest this game if possible. Of course though I’ll take a win however it comes.

I made the comment about Hauser and Geronimo earlier, but interestingly Hauser is their leading rebounder. I still stand by the comment I made though.
