Great post. I agree completely with the 3 man weave. It rarely generates any significant opportunities and we end up with only 15-20 seconds left on the shot clock. Severely limits what we’re capable of doing for the remainder of the possession.
Or, as we’ve seen against Rutgers (and others, but Rutgers was recent and a good example) they can pack the lane HEAVY and we look lost trying to figure out other ways to score. It often results in a turnover or a stagnant possession.
Yeah I’m aware they’ve played a bunch of nobodies. Regardless, they’re beating down on a decent Big Ten team right now. Agree completely on Illinois though, they need to get it figured out over there before their season spirals out of control.
