I have the same hope plus one of two more 1. That Dolson has told CMW BigTen championship and/or Final 4 is your bar. Anything less an you're out. Or 2. That CMW/Buckner have an agreement with Dolson that CMW will announce his retirement at the start of the season and use it as a "last hurrah"

I asked a week or so again and didn't get an answer. Was there ever an "official" statement released by the AD or just the "sources report" stuff?

Filled out my bracket this morning. I went at it from the "how could this season get any worse" approach. Feeling sick to my stomach at the moment. Let's hope I come in dead last in the challenge

I know you're not defending him and agree that he tried to run a system with what he had BUT.... If he knew he didn't have what he needed, why was there an open scholarship? Even if you fill it with a guard that wasn't quite big ten ready you at minimum have a red-shirt player with a year of practice in "the system". Instead, that scholarship sat empty and we have 0 incoming recruits. I would love to hear QBuck's take on how that's acceptable and not justification for making a change. I started this season on the "hope he figures it out" side of the fence but that hope went away quickly and it became obvious that he won't/can't and a change is needed.

I can't think of an off season in my almost 50 years of fandom that I've been this discouraged. I don't care if we land all the big portal fish, I have zero confidence in this staff putting something competitive on the court. I couldn't even get excited about Kentucky and Purdue both losing in the last two days for $#@%'s sake. This sucks!!!!

Latest rumor is our open scholarship is going to enter the portal.
