  1. I think he was arguing with the ref all night that 3 isn't really greater than 2 and the refs had enough. Outscored by a massive margin once again from behind the arc. Pathetic. Just like next year's recruiting class, I've got nothing. Peace to all.
  2. Or.... We beat OSU and stomp Michigan State. That would be nice 🙂
  3. Yeah. Everyone time one of those two caught the ball in the second half I was cringing waiting for a turnover or a forced shot against 2 or 3 guys.
  4. Kenny Payne watching the second half when IU went zone...
  5. Assume MK is MR since Kopp didn't see any minutes tonight 😉 Definitely not their best games, both had some bonehead fouls. But they combined for 13 boards and we're 7-8 from the line.
  6. 5:34 left in the game (54-51) my son calls it..."First one to 60 wins" Kid is a savant. Gritty win! Bring on the "Little Guard"
  7. If they don't get rid of Cliff Marshal, I'm out
  8. X didn't get a Sportsmanship award? Must be a mistake
  9. I agree his defense has been the thing we've missed most when he's out. Let's hope we can shake the Nittany Lion curse that's plagued us recently.
  10. yeah, let's first see if we can beat the two teams that we are 0-4 against this year losing by an average of 13.5 points.
  11. Whatever it means, 247 has 3 2024 "prospects" tagged to IU. Well, there are technically 4 but one of them is McNeeley 😔 https://247sports.com/college/indiana/Season/2024-Basketball/Targets/
  12. I am also not OK with the personal and petty attacks being piled on. If we look at the situation from a job/responsibility perspective though I think there are valid arguments for replacing CMW. There are some arguments that fall under the "difference of opinion" category: substitution patterns, style of play, roster construction, etc. Let's throw those out of the conversation for now. There are others that are (at least to me) facts that point to some level of negligence on the coach. A scholarship left open this year and 0 recruits for next year. Even when it was just 1 recruit, I still feel it was negligent. Add to this the responses given when questioned about this area and it doesn't help his case, IU legend or not. Just the opinion of a lifelong fan (not sure if I qualify for the "real" label or not)
  13. There will be some grumblings even with him having one of (if not the) top classes coming in. Fans are "the problem" everywhere
  14. I feel it more likely that Dolson steps down/gets fired than CMW at this point. Just sad.
  15. No way should you boo players or coaches on senior night IMO. But... If you (coach or player) can't handle fan and media (social or mainstream) criticism, complaining, etc. you shouldn't be in major college or professional sports.
  16. But did IU announce it? I would expect that statement to come form the AD. I don't recall any specifics as to who these "sources" are. I totally could have missed it though. Is so, my apologies.
  17. Feel like I need to email someone. @IU Scott has Dolson, QB and the BOT covered so I've decided to write Jack Swarbrick at Notre Dame and see how he feels about basketball fan refugees seaking asylum. What a cluster!!!!
  18. So we left a scholarship open this year because we didn't have enough in NIL fund to pay a player to fill it?
  19. Knowing that he is not the long-term solution, over the last month Dolson and Woodson came to an agreement that Woodson would, after this season announce he'll be retiring after next season. As part of this, Dolson has agreement from some coach (for the sake of argument only - let's say May) to come in next year as a "chief of staff" (or some super assistant role) with the understanding that he takes over after next season (similar to the Duke, UNC transitions). What are the chances it plays out like this? Slim I'm sure. This is the only way I can see the program not digging itself deeper into a hole by keeping him for next year. I'm sure that I (like many others) just don't want to have to wait for 2026 or 2027 to start seeing (or even have hope that we'll start seeing) the program going in the right direction. The reality is probably more like... The administration seeing that his buyout is way more reasonable/acceptable after next year decided we'll make a change then and just pick up wherever things land after that (reset to Crean year 2 or 3 level)
  20. I gave those up and switched to Whiskey Weekdays (followed of course by Whiskey Weekends)
  21. I came to terms years ago with my NFL team (Carolina Panthers 😔) being run by bumbling idiots. I guess I need to come to similar terms with IU basketball.
