......never felt comfortable with him still at IU and his dad moving on.  I can't stand people/players that talk out both sides of their mouth

Then........ Indiana's #1 overall player, #5 LB nationally, who signed with Indiana during the early signing period made the announcement on his Twitter this afternoon that he is remaining a Hoosier with the words "I'm home", and a picture of him in an Indiana hat.

Today......"After praying and long talks with my family, I have decided to de-commit from Indiana University. I'll always love Hoosier Nation and wish nothing but the best for the university."

Good grief!.....When you cut ties with IU, "break up",........I have NO MORE interest!

      ......I'm Just Pi$$ed!!

It’s Dae that decommited. Dasan is enrolled.

That's completely fine. You chose to act the way you did. You completely dominated the entire basketball discussion with space and pace.

Then you come here, this thread,  and want to drum up rumors about 17-19 yr olds transferring when they haven't even played a game, one isn't even in college. It's a bad look. Quite honestly it's an awful look.

Don't come on here and be abrasive and then just assume you should be welcomed with open arms, that's on you, not us.

I apologize, it’s not like I didn’t get the same treatment at times. Didn’t know I had to earn a spot or ask permission or not post on something I have an interest in. It also seems to be clickish site. It’s unfortunate I guess from both sides. Again I’m sorry and won’t be back. Good day all. Go Hoosiers.

    SMH….just leave it alone.

Why? Because you disagree? They both have 4 years. With the transfer rules the way they are who tf knows. So🤦🏻 Yourself. Its too damn convenient. It’s not like these things never happen. And notice I said “at some point”.  You guys are so sensitive and dismissive.

Bottom line is for me, I would put some credence to these rumors if his sons were transferring with him, but I haven't seen anywhere yet that they are. If their dad was unhappy, I would imagine they would go with him.

It’s way to early. If they are they won’t say anything until everything is ready. I’m expecting at least one will end up with dad at some point. If people think these sweet tweets are set in stone are delusional. They have to say something. 🤦🏻

I need a little more evidence before casting one look at Allen. What he's done for our program deserves benefit of the doubt in my book. With that said he's in charge and if we go another year like last year (don't think we will) it's part of the business where people will start looking at him.

Very true. I hope so but the past as IU football is concerned is still awful. Give us old pessimist some slack. 🤣

Exactly. I always laugh when people say 1 person isn't bigger than the program....but 1 person is causing more damage to the program.

I'll say this again just like you did. IF this is the reason coaches are leaving.....we need to take a hard look at Coach Hiller.

That person has become Allen. It’s his ship. We and everyone else have taken a look at Hiller. We don’t like what we see.

Let’s not get dramatic. Let’s see how this season plays out. If they win two games, you can get dramatic. This blows but if DM didn’t have his sons, nobody would really care too much about this. It’s an odd situation and hurts the recruiting class rankings.

Don’t down play this. He’s the associate head coach too. Second in charge. That’s nothing to just dismiss. Kind of comical people would.

I know in most cases having your assistants poached by bigger programs is a good thing (in terms of our success and going above normal IU football baselines), but for some reason this has a sinking ship sort of feel to it.

    Afraid I’m feeling the same.

I think Tom Allen is the perfect type of coach for IU, I really do. But you have to be objective about the performance of your guys and the state of the program. If you cannot make the tough decisions, then you can't be the head coach. Another responsibility is listening to your coaches, players, and others who might see things a bit differently. This would be a bad look for CTA if true. If he's willing to sink himself and the program over one guy, then this program has some serious problems.

I hope we/I’m wrong but this has classic IU football written all over it. I’m very skeptical of IU football getting it all together.

  10. That glow over the horizon isn’t the sun…it’s fire. IU program is on fire and not the good kind. Sounding like our worst fears are coming true. Our coach can’t let go of his buddy that is spoiling the momentum.  IU football is spectacularly failing right before our eyes.

I agree. He and Parker are the best shooters on the team. I’m not debating that. But is that saying much? We’re not a great shooting team to begin with. Maybe I should have reworded the good to great. Kopp is not a great shooter…decent? Yes. His overall shooting percentages are in the 30s…including 2s. That’s not great.   As someone pointed out…race is shooting in the teens from deep.

37-38%  is pretty good for a 3. Parker is elite if he’s catch and shoot. They just don’t get open because our other 2 on the floor are. X and race get most of the open looks. Be a whole different team and discussion if race could hit. Even X is hitting more.

Just looked at some stats, Wiscy's top two scorers shoot 36.5% and 37% from the 3pt line.

IU's top two scorers shoot 0% and 13.8%. I realize theirs are guards and ours are bigs, but that is a tough way to win in college basketball.

If one of them could hit at 33-35% it would completely change the offense.
