The ole 3 vs 4 debate…🍿🍿🍿🍿
Woody has guards and forwards. They also wants them to guard multiple spots. 😉

I think he reminds me of Duncan Robinson minus a couple inches. Body movement is similar.
I’ll take that.

The more I look at Knecht he reminds me of Gordon Hayward.

So what I mean is JG and him both really good rebounders but don’t shoot the 3 well. In order to be successful I think Woody probably wants his 3 to shoot the ball at a high rate
Actually Banks was pretty good at shooting in high school. He doesn’t need to be a volume guy necessarily just be able to catch and shoot when open. It’s defending the 3/4 that will determine when and how much he plays. Woody likes to be able to switch on D. Banks to me is better already than JG.

Personally I’d want another 3 guard. I assume Knecht plays the 3 but I’m not convinced Banks can play the 3 well enough and is more of a JG type 4. Knecht isn’t playing 40 minutes and I don’t see Newton playing the 3 either
Banks is taller and way more skilled than JG. Banks will probably play the 3 at some point. Agree IU does need wing help.

As long as he still visits IU then I am not worried. Bobby Knight is still the greatest Knight in college basketball…and we have a Coach that is directly connected with him. IU in the Spring has to beat Oregon.
Yeah it’s big news that he visited and that’s it.

Going to ask this here. Long time ago when Butch Davis was rebuilding Miami they had so many scholarship restrictions they had to get creative. For example...Santana Moss was actually on track scholarship and walked on football team. My question as it relates to IU and NIL...do we think there will be a time where say we or a school is out of scholarships but have the kids pay their tuition as a walk because of extra NIL $??
Guess I'm just seeing where things could end up or asking is there any rules that prohibit that?
I’d bet that’s happening in football. I’d bet NIL money on it.

I really am surprised that no one was able to snap/post some actual pics of Ware and Ledlum out and about during their on campus visit at IU over Easter weekend. All that seem to be posted was the golf cart at Cook Hall. Did anyone see them on campus or out eating with coaches? Asking for a friend...lol
Ledlum got there late. Not sure they even interacted much at all.

Can anyone share with me why the Little Rock native wouldn't go back home and play at Arkansas? Just curious what happened there.
No connection. Ya has a connection with Ware. Also Muss doesn’t appeal to everyone. Imho

This recruitment needs lithium. I’ll excuse myself with a lot of alcohol and a sedative. See you in a week. Good grief. 🤣🤣😉

I doubt a kids life determining decision was made and then changed on a dime because an internet dude posted something too early.
If so, then there was very very little thought put into the important decision to begin with.
Not arguing that. Rabby sounds like he stirred a pot with nothing in it.
-
Not sounding good on Ware. At least not even close to optimistic as last night. Rabjohns totally f’ed up sounds like.

Oats has now lost all of his assistants. So I wonder how those visits are going to go.

It's all about football now. That's what all of this conference expansion and TV deals are about. It's why the ACC is getting killed and why teams like Florida State and Clemson want out. The problem is their TV deal is like 13 more years.
The Big Ten is a couple of years away from coming to North Carolina one last time and saying 'are you going to save yourself and join us or are you going to die clutching a basketball?
Not totally in the B1G case. SEC is all football though. The B1G went after markets and research. They make their money for schools 2 ways. Makes them a more stable conference. I mean they did go after football powerhouses in Rutgers and UCLA. Now the B1G is in almost every major market even if nobody watches the B1G still gets put on the base cable package. People pay for it even if they don’t watch. Sorry I won’t derail any further.

Well something happened inside IU last night. It was obvious it was exciting news. Just let it play out. 😉

Wasn’t sure with it being early yet. Not sure what all connections Shrewsberry will have in Indiana.
I’d say Purdue and ND will be fighting for kids more than IU vs ND.
