Reneau can/will play the 5 in the future. His game is polar opposite of the other two.

I'd say Reneau's use will be much like TJD's, with less explosiveness, but more of a jump shot... forcing big guys to guard him away from the basket.

All three could easily play a large amount of minutes on the same team.

Actually he’s a 4/5 out type. Especially since he has a little bit of form. Woody wants everyone on the floor to use handles. Defense is his biggest problem right now. Imho

Sorry, to clarify, I think they all play different roles in my opinon:

    Reneau: 5/4 (mostly a 4)

    Asa: 4/3 (mostly a 4)

    Liam: 3

My concern is those 3 are talented enough to start, but I just don’t think after playing this season at the 4 that they would move Reneau to the 5. He’s not trying to be an NBA center. So then becomes the question off is it a good look to have any of these guys come off the bench when we’re trying to get them to the league and recruit future Montverde stars.

NBA centers aren’t really centers. If woody goes 4/5 out and runs zoom like a lot of college and pro teams do then that position won’t be a problem. I’d say he’s perfect for it actually.

My biggest concern with this recruitment is Reneau. He’s not projected to be a first round/early second round pick for next year so I would assume he would stay for his Junior season.

It’s clear the staff would love to have both Asa and Liam but I struggle with figuring out how they utilize Reneau in this picture. He’s too good to not have major minutes, and I don’t see the staff pushing him to play the 5 when we’re looking at guys like Flory and trying to get Reneau to the league.

Missing out on one of them obviously makes this a non issue. A good problem to have nonetheless haha.

So you think all three play the same spot. From my understanding asa and Liam are 3-4 types.  Reneau is a 4-5. I’m not worried at all about Malik. If anything I’d assume we don’t get Asa and Liam. One or the other is my guess.

For me, it was more about laughing at the dumb KU Twitter fans and the dumber $70/month KU discord fans who pay for terrible information.  They were sooooo smug and arrogant about Mgbako based on their terrible "intelligence" and then tried to paper over it by saying that Cuban bought the commit at the last minute (wrong on multiple levels).

It's pretty obvious in hindsight that Kansas absolutely did not lead after (and more likely during) the IU visit.

Slater knew that Udeh was transferring to Kansas. He tweeted yesterday that another McDonalds AA was going to enter the portal and quoted it today once Udeh entered. Kansas 247 guy literally today said he expected Udeh to return. Seems as if Slater even knows more about what’s going on with KU than their own insider. Also, Rabjohns and Slater are best friends. Mgbako could definitely go to Kansas, but I think we truly have as good a shot as they do currently.

I saw that KU has been doing everything possible to keep him. They wanted him just couldn’t convince him.

Wondering if the IU schedule might help our chances just a little.  We play at Rutgers and also in the Empire Classic in New York City.  Also, Maryland and Penn State are about 200 miles from his hometown.  Maybe better chances for his parents to see him play?  I don't think Kansas has any games in the East.

With NIL they will be able to see any game they want at no cost. The schedule imho isn’t a factor.
