Thanks it is going alright. HH is a beautiful place and if you love golf it is a great place. If you go in the summer it is very hot and humid and I never gave felt heat like that. We always had to go on vacation the first two weeks of July because my dad's work shutdown then.
Yes, I am a beautiful place.

Absolutely! I can't find the tweet, but I saw a tweet after Maui/Ashville, that if you remove the freshmen attempts the team is actually shooting close to 40% from 3 through 4 games.
Considering number of 3-point shots first --
Al 4-10 / 40%
Franklin 2-10 / 20%
Rob 4-6 / 67%
Jerome 2-6 / 33%
Race 1-2
Franklin is the outlier for the vets. Small sample size so far but lines up with Cam's comments Al, Rob and Hunter are the best 3-point shooters on the team. They need to shoot more outside shots.
Frosh
Lander 2-13 / 15% (dang)
Trey 1-6 / 16%
Leal 0-3
Geronimo 1-2
Kind of surprised Lander has taken more 3's than anyone, while missing almost all of them. CAM must be giving him some rope to get his confidence going -- Good generally but I would rather see Al Rob and Hunter taking the most 3's -- and getting more encouragement to do so.

I am going to miss all those debates about Smith on the wing though..........

Agree. There was a pretty heated thread when Smith announced his transfer. I think it's pretty clear IU is at worst just as good, and more likely actually better off. The defense has not taken a single step backwards (at least not yet) and in fact is potentially better (I always maintained Smith a good on the ball defensively but pretty bad off the ball).
The team chemistry is better, the ball movement is better. It's only 4 games but the consistent effort seems better. We still struggle to shoot obviously, but I'll take Race and Franklin developing and getting those minutes over having Smith on the roster.
Spacing. Spacing is already clearly better. Shooting will come along, it’s early.

MSU won 83-76
Detroit had the ball down two but Davis took a bag off balance shot with 1:30 to go in the game
So if we beat Detroit Mercy only by 7, just imagine what the doomsayers would be saying here ....

29-29 with under 4 to go for MSU vs Detroit
Well, that might be a final score in a Wisconsin game, but this is 4 to go in 1st half lol

MSU tied 24 all with Detroit Mercy w/about 7 min to go in 1st half

The "purist" UK fans don't really like how Cal gets his results. Not that they aren't happy with them, just the rebuild every year.
By “purists” do you mean those that are not “kinfolk” as inter-married and cross-bred?

It’s really a weird year with covid.
Have to wonder how, or if, MSU would have responded, after starting 3-15 with 6 to’s, if Cameron was packed with students going nuts
Yes the absence of the home crowd is going to cause a number of losses and take the wind out of a lot of games

I was glad when Dakich cleaned house. I was at the game at Northwestern when Jamarcus Russell wouldn't even stand with the team in the huddle. I was hoping Dakich would order him off the court right then and there...
If I was a football quarterback, at another school, I wouldn't stand in the huddle for IU basketball either.
Jamarcus Ellis on the other hand...

Fouls, it’s the flights, with recirculated air, not driving that is the clearly legitimate concern, and the large family gatherings, also clearly legitimate as a demonstrated cause of the continued spread of the virus. People really need to stop the push back as we continue to hit record cases, hospitalizations and deaths and it’s only going to get worse in the next month or so before the vaccines get into public use.
