  1. Well I went for drinks with a coworker. Looks like I missed a good game so far
  2. i dislike you just a little for even putting that "t" in front of OSU.
  3. i agree and even with apathy and unrest in amongst the fan base, we never release our expectations that we demand the very best from IU basketball. Players, coaches and university. It might be unrealistic, but its unwavering, that we expect greatness. To our very own demise at times. But what more could a program want, than a fanbase that never accepts mediocrity. Win and they will love you forever. Falter and they will eat you alive.
  4. honestly, I wish i was in the area, i would grab those tickets immediately and go enjoy AH. I haven't been to a game there since i was a kid and that was like 35 years ago. I have wanted to go back so many times, just easier to drive the 1h15 up to Iowa city and watch in Carver.
  5. Honest questions, do we have any traction currently with any '25 kids? Are we leading for anyone? I don't pay attention to recruiting.
  6. I stand by my statement. Feel free to disagree
  7. Yes there is a chance, but its very very unlikely we win the BTT. We could, but its more likely we lose the first game honestly.
  8. i wouldn't go 99% of the time you win that in the tourney. You had glaring holes that they took advantage of. I would say 75 times out of a 100 you win that at best.
  9. There might be an argument there. Just based on numbers and making it to the NC title game, even losing. He does have better overall winning percentage and Conference percentages. Personally, i don't think either are very good college coaches at this moment in time. 11-9 in the ACC conference last year was 7th. HOLY SH!T 12-8 was tied for 2nd in the B1G. What a difference.
  10. Agree, this the kind of year to feast and get a great seed or even win the BTT for the first time.
  11. I hope you're right, but we have 1 example unless you watch others on other teams, i do not.
  12. They looks like AAU jersey's that were made down the street by the local guy who has a tshirt machine in his garage and did them for $27 and a package of ball park franks. They plump when you cook them you know
  13. I don't know how far back i would have to go, but it feels like some player has had a career night against IU for like 20 years now.
  14. don't disagree. I am not putting my chickens in the McNeely basket just yet. Freshman, even highly touted ones struggle at times to adjust to the speed and skill of the college game. MM has some of the tools and can shoot well from three when wide open, but he struggles to create his own 3pt shots. He is decent at going to the rim with his size, but even then, can struggle. I am hoping for a big jump from MM which would be huge for IU next year. Malik has to grow as a player in Vision and Decision making. If those2 can make the Jump, we could be a decent team. Still need a PG/SG with starting caliber skills.
  15. agreed, but they are by all accounts a better team than Nebraska. not saying we will win, but i feel like this is one of those games where we could win by 20
  16. Its the FANS Fault. Just kidding!!! Definitely a combination of staff and players. Things like free throws fall on players to put in the extra effort, after practice, on weekends and evening putting up thousands of shots to be ready. Effort is completely on the players. Galloway, although annoys the living shit out of me that he is always in the air or on the ground or falling away, usually give 100% when he is on the floor. I just wish he would learn to to dial it back about 10% most of the time. Anyways, the coaching staff is responsible for roster construction, offense and defensive schemes. And how those pieces fit into those schemes or how to adjust the scheme to fit the platers. I feels like sometimes we constantly trying to pound a 4x4 square peg into a round pin hole. There is alot of talent on this team. And each of those talented players have holes in their games that they and the coach need to work on fixing. And it feels like neither of them want to put the effort into doing so. Go Hoosiers.
  17. IMO, we're not getting any high end point guards. And honestly, we need to pick up 2 or 3 PG/SGs out of the portal. I could care less what they were ranked and more about can they shoot, score and take care of the ball. Unfortunately Galloway is SG that can't really shoot (Every year but last year) but brings great energy and passion to the floor. Need him first off the bench for 1-3. Cupps is going to be good, probably still needs to come off the bench next year though. We can be good next year. Are we going to be, don't know?
  18. 20-12 with an NCAA bid next year would get Coach Woodson another year or 2 from most, even people who currently want him fired. It would feel like we were moving in the right direction and maybe we would be. Even we have the same issues but win more games.
  19. We only dropped to 102 from 98 though. So not a terrible loss.
  20. We should win this one. Nebraska doesn't play well on the road at all. We just have to play decent to get this W
  21. Not sure that is Galloway best shot
  22. Oof. Not you to Scott. We need you to stay positive
  23. We might still win this one. If they go cold we could get enough underneath to pull this out
  24. I don’t know what to say
