  1. It was insane. And keep in mind AD and LeBron were STILL complaining after basically every call for and against them. I have never seen a super star complain more about officiating than LeBron. In his mind he is always fouled and never fouls. AD isn't much better.
  2. Gotcha. So there is no confirmation as to who said this or who might be visiting.
  3. It was sarcasm. Of course it's ridiculous.
  4. They're just passionate and don't want to settle for mediocrity.
  5. I understand you believe that, and that's fine. But it's also ok for me to hope for positive momentum and results regardless of the current situation and what others (and I) think about Woody and the administration.
  6. I am not saying he's necessarily a good fit for IU, but he's still young and smart. And are you a fan of Dusty? And if so why? I would take a handful of other coaches over him as well. He might be good, but IU needs more of a "savior" than a gamble hire. For Michigan if he's good, great. If not, no big deal for them. I just don't think IU can hire another flavor of the month type of guy.
  7. Impressive win. Tight 1st half. Destroyed them in the 2nd
  8. They should just keep pounding it inside until Fairfield proves they can stop it.
  9. He blew an 18 point lead in 7 minutes.
  10. Just another example of older players/teams beating younger teams. People say "that's an excuse". No it's not, it's reality. And with the portal you're going to see it more and more.
  11. What came about in 72 hours? What changed between Cig coming on board and now?
  12. He was a big Allen guy. I was actually surprise he stayed. I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up at PSU.
  13. I am just saying, his back is against a wall, if he was going to start doing anything remotely positive in the portal, this is the time. No more chances.
  14. I would say playing at IU is probably better than playing at 99% of places. Don't underestimate the allure of playing in front packed houses + $. And believe it or not some players have actually developed well under the current staff. It will be an uphill battle, but as long as Woody remembers their names and gives them some evidence he can help them, we can get good players. Remember, he has gotten some good recruits before and he's really hanging on for dear life, so he's got to do something good here in the next few weeks/months and he knows it.
  15. I can't disagree, but we I also can't wish things into reality. Seems like Woody is getting one more year whether we like it or not.
  16. Gotta go big with the next guy. That would be a big time move.
  17. So we probably need to come to grips with this. He's either turning it around or getting canned next year. That's on him, the staff, and the administration. I am sure everyone involved knows this. Will we reach Louisville and Michigan levels? I don't know, but either way those jobs are going to get interest from good coaches and IU's will too. Personally I would give T.J. Otzelberger the first call. He turned around a program that went 2–22 0–18, and uses the portal very effectively. He seems like the kind of guy that would thrive at IU. But I think they'll be a lot good candidates both young and old. I know Dolson is in the crosshairs (as he should be) but he hired a guy like Cig after Allen, so I think we'll see a similar about-face when the time comes.
  18. I agree. But It is kinda of a dead horse, right? Unless there's some rumor that the administration is changing their mind.
  19. Yes, and transferred back there after he left IU. His dad was the coach there and unexpectedly died.
