Also, if you take a look on Twitter, we seem to be gaining some momentum with bigger program guys in regards to OV for those worried that we're going to be a Big Sun Belt Ten team.

You know better than most, but there was talent on this team. They totally underachieved in my mind. But I have zero problem with letting those who aren't buying in or think the grass is greener elsewhere leave without much of a fight. I really, for once in a long time, do have belief we have a guy in charge who knows what he's doing.

It also tells you the staff is prioritizing guys they want or who they think want to stay. Those guys who have already committed seem like CTA guys all the way or chasing the best $$

He's been at the school for less than two weeks. What HS recruits are you expecting him to magically pull in that amount of time? Like let's be real here. The last time IU had a real head coach with a track record of success was... I think we might need to see a couple of games before we light up the torches, no? Jumping to the worst case scenario already is pretty outrageous. One thing I have read is he's a good recruiter, but I think we need a little patience here.

I know there are varying opinions on those who have entered the portal because we've won three conference games in three years, but we were "a better coached/directed program" away from being a 6 win team this season. So personally I think the more guys we can get back from the portal the better. It also tells me the current staff thinks they can contribute to turning this around and that the player is buying in. Both are pluses.
