You know better than most, but there was talent on this team. They totally underachieved in my mind. But I have zero problem with letting those who aren't buying in or think the grass is greener elsewhere leave without much of a fight. I really, for once in a long time, do have belief we have a guy in charge who knows what he's doing.

It also tells you the staff is prioritizing guys they want or who they think want to stay. Those guys who have already committed seem like CTA guys all the way or chasing the best $$

I know there are varying opinions on those who have entered the portal because we've won three conference games in three years, but we were "a better coached/directed program" away from being a 6 win team this season. So personally I think the more guys we can get back from the portal the better. It also tells me the current staff thinks they can contribute to turning this around and that the player is buying in. Both are pluses.

Myles Jackson said he was a good teammate. I rooted for him. I thought he was pretty good, with a lot of potential. But QBs are gonna definitely jump ship for the right price more often than not. That being said, it's gonna be way more interesting the next few years with or without CTA's holdovers. I am excited about Cigs.
