    10.40 was my PB...that won a sectional title.  I normally ran 10.6-10.7.

10.4 would be the fastest non wind aided time in IHSAA State Finals history. 10.6 is good enough to take home 1st place in 23 of the last 40 state Finals and you’re here talking about sectionals. Come on man…

    UNC overrated.

Utterly baffling…it’s not like they had everyone back from a big year. Their only impressive win from last year was over Miami. Had a decent year, worth maybe top 20 and lost their top two running backs and wide receivers, brining nothing of value into the team this year. Their own coach called them overrated and their “Heisman” candidate is an absolute fraud. I honestly can’t think of a single justification for having them in the top 10 coming into this year

    Lol good luck

Indiana University Surplus Store will likely put them up for sale like they have most others in years past (they are currently selling unused cleats). These also find their way on eBay pretty consistently. I have two game worn road jerseys, one from around 2009 and one from 2012 that my wife wears. Just have to wait on them to go up for sale

I'd be interested to see how much weight he can put on going into Frosh year. He could be an elite Edge rusher with that reaction speed.

Who knows? I absolutely agree but things like that don’t always work out. I’ve seen guys desperately try to add weight at that age and it doesn’t work. The great thing about Desan is we don’t “need” him to change anything, no matter how he develops, there’s a spot on the field for him and he’ll excel at it.

Dasan isn't gonna play Husky.   You said Husky or WLB (Cam Jones).  I was was being a smart ass and saying not Husky by naming Lino.  Horrible reference,  I guess.

You may wanna ask Dasan first because he’s gonna play wherever he wants on the defensive side of the ball. I also don’t hate the idea of him playing TE2 in the red zone or situationally if he wants to. Kid is an absolute freak of an athlete

He threw that 52 yards on a dot. Look how early he gets rid of it, as well... lets his dude beat the corner in a foot race.

If this kid doesn’t move up in the rankings, I’ll be surprised. He has all the tools and instincts to play at this level. I feel like being listed at 6’1 is why he’s not higher but if he can excel in top class Texas football, that’s obviously not an issue for him

The staff has some work to do.

Lol, one of these things is not like the others….but that being said, does he want to be great, stand out, help build something special with friends and family in attendance or does he want to blend in, wait in line and risk getting passed over???

Fair enough. I'm not saying its vulgar. I think it's them being a little salty that he didnt join them. I just think they should wish their buddies well. My comment was more of.....I never want to see Purdue win, but I hope Stickland has a good career. Hell of a player.

First and foremost, these are kids doing kid things. Also, they’re not friends and they barely know each other off social media. Personally, I’m surprised there’s not way more of this in general.  As for the adults “in the room”, we should be taking the high road and wishing him well but the harmless smack talk amongst kids, I think, is healthy…normal competitive behavior

I don't think it really matters does it?  Does anyone watch Rutgers sports?

All that matters is cable subscriptions. NJ and NY cable companies make BTN standard as a result of Rutgers. Otherwise it’s ala carte or shoved to the most expensive channel tier and thus millions less in revenue

They tweaked some rantings on 247. Moore and Thomas are both inside the top 400 and very close to 4 stars.

Dunnam is somewhere ahead of Turner but it hasn't shown the overall yet. Pretty much everyone else stayed the same.

As a class we moved from 24th to 21st.

I think Monds and Hoover will approach 4 star status before their seasons are up also. Rivals has them on the cusp already

Matthews, Ball, McFadden, Jones, Bonhomme are flat out athletic freaks and will all be starting on our defense.

Taylor and Mullen are the best pair of CBs we've had, maybe ever.

Handy and Anderson are fantastic additions.

Any word on Jaylin Williams? I can’t find anything regarding the latest hit and run incident as to who was driving his car or if charges were pending.

I love it. Trust YOUR eyes, NOT a scouts.

It's your team, it's your school, it's your program. CTA knows what WE need, I have no clue if this kid can play, but truthfully, 247 doesn't either and their job isn't on the line like CTAs is with essentially each recruit.

(I know you aren't questioning him at all lol)

I just love this stuff. I find diamonds in the rough very intriguing. Like half the starters in the last SB were 2 star recruits or something "other". It's not a line I want to be walking with 8 to 10 recruits a year, but 1 or 2. Heck yeah!

Exactly. It’s only one unknown kid so I completely agree. We used to have 3-5 recruits per year at a similar stature. CTA has a knack for finding potential on the defensive side of the ball and developing it so maybe this kid can turn into a Marcelino Ball or McFaddon caliber player…if not, you always need more speed on the scout team. Picking up a recent offer from FSU is nothing to to scoff at either. He also clearly hasn’t been evaluated by the recruiting sites so I expect this to change at some point in his senior season and he’ll have a rating.

And he had to check his gait due to sideline congestion while decelerating. That increased the stress forces on his ACL greatly. It really was a freak incident.

Football programs need to smarten up and put down better sideline material. Kids get hurt all the time trying to stop on slippery material or in some corner areas there’s not enough room with no wall padding.
