  1. Can’t believe we still can’t hit free throw’s consistently as a team
  2. This team hasn't even scratched the surface. Geronimo and Bates will continue to improve. Galloway will get more minutes, especially against smaller line ups. Race and Kopp need to find a way to contribute more on both ends of the floor if they're going preserve playing time. The current status in great and the future looks even better for this program. On to the next!
  3. UNC is trying to foul and these clowns won’t call it. What a performance from the stripes tonight
  4. Anybody happen to know what pace JHS plays at???
  5. Penix in DeBoer’s offense makes Bazelak look like the guy from the frat football league hardo, that swears had he avoided that sprained ankle in high school, he’d be playing D1.
  6. There’s plenty of benefits but my argument is that player safety trumps them
  7. So did Joe Theismann but ya, solid point. Also, if you study the nature in which Bo dislocated his hip you’d understand that you’re actually agreeing with me.
  8. Still doesn’t account for the fact that FieldTurf doesn’t divot. When grass divots, it providing the necessary give that your tendons need to stay in tact. If your foot is stuck but your body/momentum is going the opposite direction, stuff tears and breaks. It’s physics. Bo Jackson is bigger and stronger than everyone carrying the ball today and never had a turf related, non contact injury.
  9. The math is obvious. One study found knee/ankle injuries are up 88% from the grass era. Another says you’re 30% more likely to have a knee or ankle injury. There’s literally zero incentive for the players to be outspoken on this topic, otherwise. When you break it down, the science is obvious. When you wear cleats on a surface that can “grab”/hold your cleat, your foot is less likely to slip out. If your body/momentum is going one direction and your foot is stuck…it’s a high probability of injury.
  10. Different kind of problem but ya, astro turf was awful. I played on it. Felt like tackle football in the street. I’d like to compare the cost of grass upkeep vs knee surgeries. If I had to bet, IU is breaking even at best.
  11. Non grass playing surfaces, pro turf? Whatever you wanna call it. The NFLPA is pushing to ban it. Injuries like DW’s didn’t happen with the frequency when grass or the “astro turf” surfaces were used. Grass and soil have give, this stuff doesn’t and it’s a disaster for athletes’ knees
  12. Field Turf needs to be a thing of the past, along with CTA and Bazelak. Purdue isnt even playing well and we’re crapping the bed in every facet of the game.
  13. True, but Logan’s points per 40 minutes is 160 for the game thus far so he’s gotta be at least in the conversation.
  14. I wish we didn’t have a dipsh*t head coach who knows the importance of centering the ball that close to goaline. CTA is the ef’ing worst
  15. 60% of the time, it works every time!!!!
  16. Nah man, keep puttin that JuJu into the universe…it’s working!
  17. Even though the NBA game is much more standing around watching others play 1on1 than college ever will be, that is still unbelievable…dude couldn’t even luck into a rebound?
  18. If I didn’t know any better I’d assume this was a typo. How does s player with his experience average 22 minutes per game and have just one made basket with zero FT attempts? I’ve never seen a stat line like this in my life.
  19. It wasn’t pretty but I still think this was a solid road win. They were hitting shots that normally don’t fall and we, true to form, left a lot on the table in FTs. I’m not sure what Race gives us in this offense and 5 years in, still can’t play competent team defense. I’d really like to see Race and Kopp come off the bench and see if Malik & Geronimo can provide more production. Geronimo is also a huge upgrade on defense and running the floor in transition.
  20. Agree that there’s more that goes into who plays but he’s awful on defense, one assist, zero rebounds while going 2-8 and two turnovers. If he’s not hitting shots, what is he contributing? Investing in Geronimo at the 3 is the move in my opinion. Giving him 5 minutes when Kopp is playing as bad as he played is gross negligence.
  21. If Kopp isn’t making shots, what is the point of keeping him in the game? He’s not a “shoot your way out of a slump” kinda guy
  22. Edey has to play defense also. Either of those guys can manage/frustrate him on offense while making him absolutely miserable having to chase them all over the court on defense/guard the perimeter. There’s a reason he barely played against Iowa in both match ups last year.
