I feel like teams are more apt to play some of these tournaments to boost out of conference resume more now. I know there is money involved and these tournaments have existed for a while, but A lot of good teams in them though. The bubble has been so tough in recent years. Playing 2 more decent games out of conference can be the different between making it or not to the big dance. Just an observation. I don’t remember this many good teams in this many preseason tourneys. Could be wrong though 🤷🏻‍♂️.

It’s amazing to me seeing the transition from college to NBA when it comes to ball handling and extending shooting. The full time emphasis the teams put on those is a big deal. Seeing players in the nba shoot farther out and handle the ball better compared to what I “thought” they could do in college. I think it’s a little more wide open and faster paced, gives them a little more room. I think tjd can develop a good jumper. At worst ur looking at a solid nba role player who rebounds, scores down low, high intelligence, and this year his leadership and approach to the game seems much more focused and intentional. Love what I’m seeing from him. His ability to finish around the rim has improved so far too. Always been good, but so far he isn’t missing a lot of the bunnies he has in the past when pressured.

Looking at who they have played and the point spread, I don’t think this should be a close one. Like to jump out early and get a hot start. I like the neutral court aspect as i think it always adds a little pressure. They don’t have a player over 6’8 on the roster so should see a heavy dose of our bigs getting touches down low. Wonder if they will try a zone? Looking forward to the game. Go Hoosiers

Even with TJd scoring like he is. You are not gonna win many games hitting 2 threes. From a score and momentum/mental standpoint. Kills us.

Refs are bad. Galloway defense is a close second. He can’t stay in front of anyone.

Xavier is tough with size and experience. Miller is a good coach. It will be a tough game. I would be surprised if it wasn’t a 1-2 possession game in the last 5 mins. Gun to my head I think we win because we have more talent and we’re deeper, but can never negate a home court advantage and a pumped up team. We do the same stuff when better teams come to Bloomington, as someone said earlier. I’m nervous-excited for the game as I think it will be a good test for us.

A lot more length and explosiveness this year. They have to be having great practice sessions. Small sample size but banks gong to the rim the couple times he did was impressive. I think this team knows they are good. Though JHS forced a couple shots, but this would be the game I want him to and get a rhythm. Great game for him tho. Love his and X court vision. We will see how good we are next week. If we can hit 8 threes a game and shoot low-mid 70s from the line, with the defense we have, I don’t see us losing many.

This one weighed 242 dressed and I had to drag it up about an 8 foot creek bed…I had to ratchet strap his ass up for about 20 minutes. I didn’t have my 4 wheeler at that time. 😂 lesson learned.

Most I’ve got in a year is two. I do all my own processing and grinding and smoking and stuff. So it’s very labor intensive on both ends. I got my buck last Thursday and my butt and back still hurt from dragging it through the woods lol. 33 hitting me hard 😂

Settled for less this year with them breaking off some points. But still happy rather than eating my tag. The other two were who I was hunting for pre rack damage. I live in Ohio, trying to find some land in Indiana to hunt for another lol, but a successful season nonetheless.

Hell yeah! Nice buck… I didn’t have as good of luck this year. Two of my biggest bucks broke off points. I have a 4-5 year old 8 who broke off his entire right side, and a nice looking 9 who broke his G2 and G3.
