Leathernecks

A lot of things will get worked on and improved a lot from here, but I'm really tired of our OL being so bad. This has been a recurring theme the last few years. I had hope that with more experience and a slimmer Jones we'd see better play. Unfortunately still a long ways to go, and I haven't seen anything during Hiller's time here to think it will get much better. Need everybody else to pick it up to help mitigate it.

The execution has been terrible, but the play calling has plenty of room for improvement.

This might be the first IU game I've turned off in a long time. Really don't know how much more I can take.

Penix needs to be on the bench. I thought he might have some rust, but he's just terrible right now.

I had really hoped Ball wouldn't have the stupid penalties he had a couple years ago. Not a good start.

The good thing is, we're doing this in the first 2 minutes of the game. Plenty of time to get things going.

Don't know what took so long to initiate the replay for targeting. It was clearly worthy of a review. On a side note, Mertz went in like a wuss. Put your head down or get out of bounds. That was on him.

I love that Gus Johnson was so excited for "jump around" at the Wisconsin game. He was like a little boy. I hope to love my job half as much as he does.

I agree that Wisconsin should make Clifford beat them deep, but that doesn't mean they should keep letting guys go wide open behind them.
