  1. Feel free! My jalapeños weren't that great this year. They got knocked over in a storm in July and broke a couple parts off. My cayenne, banana, and pepperoncini were out of control.
  2. Just went and picked peppers. I still have some peppers that are flowering. They are crazy this year. I put my hand in the photo so you can judge the size of the pile. I'm kind of at the point where I wish they'd stop!
  3. I have a lot more I need to go pick. My hot peppers are mostly turned red, so I need to pick them and dehydrated them to make some cayenne seasoning. I could make a few more jars of pepperoncini peppers too, but not sure if I'll get around to that. My tomatoes were kind of the same. They started off great, and the last month or so I haven't been getting very many.
  4. Most of them have 2 or 3 other teams. I think we've played 6 different days, but we get multiple wins.
  5. I'd be happy enough with any of them having 3 birdies in the same round.
  6. My high school team is 12-1. Not sure if that made it to SportsCenter or not.
  7. This could be a topic all on its own, but agreed. The amount of useless majors out there are crazy.
  8. Hopefully the restructuring of colleges will be a good thing that comes from this virus. College costs and return on investment have been out of control.
  9. Put up 3 more rows of siding today. Didn't get a chance to take a picture. Also got the white trim for the window made. Going to try to get to the top of the window next weekend. Then it should really be looking good...I hope!
  10. Got 6 quarts and 1 pint of peppers canned today. Now to wait a few weeks before I can eat them.
  11. Pepperoncini, banana, jalapeño, and chili peppers. Brandywine, Defiant (my early tomato), and san marzano tomatoes. Pound and a half brandywine.
  12. My garden was a little too muddy right after I watered this morning, but I'm about ready to go get a big haul of peppers and tomatoes. I made some pickled pepperoncinis a couple weeks ago, and they turned out amazing. Going to make a ton more today with the same recipe. Same with banana peppers.
  13. I didn’t have time to pick anything during the week, and I have a few pepperoncini peppers that turned red on me. I'm assuming thats still something I can use. Anybody ever had red pepperoncinis?
  14. LP Smartside with the Diamond Kote finish. It is nice doing it by myself because it has a little plastic piece on the back, so it sits right on the board before it. I checked for level after doing 5 rows, and it's perfect. My brother has installed it on quite a few houses he's done, and he told me it was idiot proof. He's clearly never seen me do it though! Rows 3-5 took about 45 minutes total to do. It was really nice after the first 2 rows took forever! The biggest problem is that we start school today, and I coach golf, so I'm only free on the weekends now. I should have ordered it earlier in the summer!
  15. Blowing my timeline out of the water! I'm glad I got good siding that should last for decades. I don’t enjoy this!
  16. Put up one and a quarter pieces of siding today. Moving my timeline up to December 2021.
  17. We got it here too. I posted a couple pictures in the weather thread. I was pretty devastated haha.
  18. I felt so bad after that picture. Tried to help her out of the garden, and her foot got caught in the fence. Crying, kicking, and screaming before I finally got her out. I sacrificed an ear of corn for her after that.
  19. She looks guilty if you ask me. Down to 1 corn stalk left on this side. Had 2, but lost my other one in the storm.
  20. My neighbor behind me lost some fence, and I've got a couple tomatoes down that I'm getting ready to go stake up.
  21. The problem is, we started golf practice today, so after 4 hours on the golf course, I have no desire to go out in the heat and work on it. I'm hoping it rains so I have an excuse to stay inside!
  22. The peak on the north side addition is about 20 feet. The peak on the main part of the north side is about 22 feet. That little 2 foot section is going to be such a pain! Luckily most of my house is pretty easy, and it is really easy siding to use (or at least that's what my brother told me haha).
  23. Day 1 of siding my house in the books. If you really zoom in, you can see the block I put behind the water spigot. At this pace, I should be finished sometime around the spring...of 2022!
