  1. That will do it. Lady Hoosiers win 93 to 37. Holmes and Scalia lead the way with 17 and 15. It’s crazy to think that IU was 5-22 from 3, with almost all of those being wide open. Just a dominant performance from the Hoosiers.
  2. Hoosiers continue to widen the score, as they lead 69-24 going into the 4th quarter. Doubt we see many starters in the 4th.
  3. Yikes that was rough to watch. IU went on a terror on both ends, with the score going into the half being 49-17. IU defense wasn’t allowing any clean looks, and IU got whatever it wanted.
  4. 22-12 IU after the 1st quarter. If the Hoosiers could hit a 3 they would be up by 20+, a lot of missed open 3’s.
  5. Hoosier D forces a shot clock violation.
  6. Holmes getting after it early. Let’s go Hoosiers!
  7. Rewatching the game this morning, and one play that helped turn the momentum was led by X. IU forced a shot clock violation at the 11:07 mark in the first half, with the score 16-12 IU. X goes out during the under 12 timeout, but that play really seemed to turn the defensive pressure up!
  8. In the words of my wife when she went outside, “That’s a lot of lights 🙄.” Lol. Definitely rolled her eyes, but she appreciates it! She is encouraging me to do our new fence and wooden swing set we got for the boys.
  9. Was able to finish the roof and fix the strand that was out. Love the way it looks so far, but still a long way to go.
  10. I had a really hard time with this vote…. I decided to go with Kopp because we really needed his performance, and that energy he provided infected the whole team. Can’t go wrong with anyone on this.
  11. Still excited about last nights performance. I like that coach is giving a lot of minutes to the bench/young guys early, which will pay off a ton in the long run. We all saw what happened to Race, and that was not his fault at all. If this team can shooting at least 35% from 3 every game, and it come from a collective group, this team will go far this season. Every spot on this roster has someone who is capable of going off, and we have guys on the bench who can fill in without much of a drop off. One thing I saw on social media is Tamar is still not 100%, dealing with a back issue. There were times where his shot looked fairly flat, but was happy to see one go in for him. Getting Kopp and Galloway confidence from deep is huge for this team. Spaces the floor out and gives more room for our drivers and bigs to operate.
  12. No complaints with today's performance. Some lapses in effort, but is understandable in games like this. I don't know if anyone else feels this way, but felt like X finally started shaking off the rust/bad mindset in parts of the game. That will be huge for us going forward with this team. Really like the teams focus on moving without the ball when it went into the post, and it led to many made 3's. I really like Kopp on the same side with TJD, I think that could be a deadly combo. Really good performance from the bench, so much better than last year. Duncomb was dead set on getting that last bucket to get us over triple digits lol.
  13. Hope to see some Gunn, Banks, and Duncomb get some run soon.
  14. LETS GO!!!! Finally caught back up to live. This is a team that can go very far in the Tourney and win the conference. Won’t shoot this good all the time, but dang this is fun.
  15. I got the chance to watch Bellarmine a few times a year when they were D2 playing schools in St. Louis. Not surprise at all with them having success, will be a consistent tough mid-major team to play against.
  16. Taking advantage of the nice weather and trying to get up as much decorations as possible. Won’t have it officially up until after Thanksgiving, but here in St. Louis it’s supposed to drop into the high of 40s on Friday. It’s in the 70s tomorrow and Thursday. Still a lot more to go and a strand went out on me after it was put up, and of course it was smack dab on the front of the house…..
  17. Lady Hoosiers win 86-49, and went off from the 3-pt line, going 12-25. Not a ton of makes, but was a struggle for them last year. Berger almost had a triple double going 14-8-8.
  18. I think some great examples of that are the mid-range curl action that he does for JHS. His shots around the free-throw line are money, and those plays get ran throughout the game.
  19. I don’t see it happening. If it wasn’t for Race or TJD he would start, but I don’t think he will start over Race. He’s a perfect fit with the 2nd unit/coming off the bench. He’s exactly what was missing last year from the 2nd unit, someone who can score more easily. He’s proven himself he could be a starter, but I don’t see him doing that until next year (assuming he’s here for 1 more year). I think JG will get more dunks this year with the defensive help that Reneau commands.
  20. I’m not saying it’s close to the ones you mentioned @Reacher, but I think X and TJD have really good chemistry on the floor. I think X plays his best with TJD because of his comfort level.
  21. My youngest now has caught on and loves saying nuts now lol. The life of two young boys is quite something.
