  1. Alford wouldn’t be the same player in the modern game. He thrived in a motion offense running off multiple staggered screens. No one plays that way anymore. He could still contribute as a spot up shooter, but not sure he’d be the same impact player
  2. 7-5 MI came in #81 in NET and just lost to #292 at home. Really in a deep hole
  3. Knowing the Bears they want to save on relocation costs
  4. Cent MI up 1 on MI in 2nd half despite shooting 3-19 from 3. Outrebounding MI 27-15.
  5. MI struggling with Cent MI and MD in a fight with UMBC
  6. Xavier picked up another road win at St John's last night, moving them to 26 in the NET. Only losses to IU, Duke and Gonzaga. This very well may be IU's best NET win of the season. As far as B1G opponents, only PU, OSU and MD are higher than Xavier and we don't play in Columbus this year. Anything could happen, but I don't expect to win in WLaf (I expect a win in BTown, though). MD in College Park looks like the next best option for a top 25 NET road win. Xavier has a big game Saturday, hosting #2 UConn.
  7. IT - best PG of his generation. Would love to see him feeding Big Mac, Edwards and Wittman. Great defender at the point, could also score at will. McGinnis - averaged 30 pts and 15 rpg in one college season. Total mismatch and freak of nature. Tolbert - physical rim protector and solid rebounder Wittman - 6'6 G/F, avg 19 ppg his one season with 3 pt line, shooting 44% from three Edwards - probably the best pure shooter ever at IU. 48% from 3, 85% FTs. Avg 18 ppg in two college seasons. No one could stay with this team.
  8. MO 89, KY 75. Really impressed with what Dennis Gates has done in year at MO
  9. You might be a redneck if your richest friend calls and asks you to come over and help remove the wheels from his house.
  10. True, after you graduate. If I’ve been outbid on three properties and my dream property hits the market, I’m not waiting for my broker to return from a road game in Lincoln.
  11. If he wants to be in the real estate industry, good for him. I worked as a real estate broker when I first graduated from IU and still hold a license. However, building a real estate business is very time consuming. It’s especially tough at that age because none of your peers are in a position to be home buyers. I can’t imagine being a full time student, a scholarship D1 athlete and trying to build a real estate business. Something has to take a back seat.
  12. “Carr’s bad game against the Steelers was representative of a larger, more worrisome trend. In Weeks 1-11, Carr completed 217 of 348 passes (62.4%) for 2,435 yards (7.0 yards per attempt), 15 touchdowns, five interceptions, and a passer rating of 91.6. Since Week 12, Carr has completed 88 of 154 passes (57.15) for 1,087 yards (7,1 YPA), nine touchdowns, nine interceptions, and a passer rating of 74.2. This is not what anybody expected. Not when the Raiders named McDaniels their head coach on January 31 in the wake of the Jon Gruden scandals. Not when Carr got that contract extension. Certainly not when the Raiders traded for Adams, Carr’s old Fresno State teammate. And certainly not when people imagined Carr throwing to Adams, Renfrow, tight end Darren Waller, and the rest of Las Vegas’ dynamic targets. Were it not for the Herculean efforts of running back Josh Jacobs, the Raiders probably would have been eliminated from playoff contention a long time ago.”
  13. Ed Reed hired as head coach at Bethune Cookman
  14. Wake Forest QB Hartman entering portal. Notre Dame the favorite
  15. Which IA team shows up? The one that blew out IA St or lost to E. IL?
  16. Yeah, I'm afraid we've revisited the "Tiger Bob" Irsay era of the franchise.
  17. Irsay was interviewed in the pre-game. He suggested that Reich was fired because Saturday was available. When asked if Reich would have been fired if Saturday had said no, Irsay said, "not that week". So, what if Saturday had said no and the Colts won the following game against the Raiders (as they did anyway), would Reich still be the coach?
  18. Aikman kept saying that Foles was named the starter last night to make plays downfield, which isn't something he's really done (at least in recent history). So he was told to throw downfield, without pass protection and without sufficient reps. So he was sacked seven times and threw three picks trying to force the ball downfield. That's a poor coaching decision. It would be different if Saturday said Ryan is committing too many turnovers, so I'm switching to Foles to be a game manager, keep it close and protect the defense. Instead, the scheme, play calling and execution was a disaster for the defense (who still held them to 20).
  19. Except Leal is a Junior who’s appeared in 41 games.
  20. They’re interviewing Irsay in the pre-game. He looks like he should be sleeping on a sidewalk grate.
  21. Too bad you were drinking heavily in Tijuana
